C4: This type of envelope is 324 mm by 229 mm in size which is typically A4, meaning that you can place a full unfolded sheet in. These envelopes hold an A4 sheet of paper folded once or an A5 sheet unfolded.
Why do the 'C' numbers increase as the envelope sizes decrease? (e.g C4 is bigger than C5) This is because envelope sizing is based on the ISO paper size system, so a C5 envelope is designed to fit A5 paper and a C4 envelope is designed to fit A4 paper.
The sizes of the A series paper fit in C series envelopes of the same number. Therefore, the C4 envelope will accommodate an A4 sized sheet without any folding. The C5 will take an A4 sheet that has been folded in half. The C4 envelopes are designed such that they are bigger than the A4 piece of paper.

The B paper sizes are a bit larger than their A series counterparts and are based on the geometric mean of two consecutive A series sheets. For example, B4 is between A3 and A4 in size, and B5 is between A4 and A5.

B Paper Sizes Guide
You can describe B3 as in between the sizes of A3 and A4 and B5 in the middle of A4 and A5.For example, the dimensions of A4 paper are 210x297mm, and half of A4 equals A5, and double A4 equals A3. Starting from A0, all subsequent A paper sizes are determined by halving the paper on its longest size. A0 halves to become A1, which halves to become A2, all the way down to A10.

A B2 piece of paper measures 500 × 707 mm or 19.7 × 27.8 inches. B2 is part of the B series and is defined by the ISO 216 international paper size standard.
The B-series is widely used in the printing industry to describe both paper sizes and printing press sizes, including digital presses. B3 paper is used to print two US letter or A4 pages side by side using imposition; four pages would be printed on B2, eight on B1, etc.
Each numbered A size is exactly half the size of the previous one.

The A3+ Super B format measures 330 x 483 mm or 13 x 19 inches. The A3+ Super B size belongs to the Photography series. In the Photography series there are a total of 15 paper sizes.
