With just the tap of a button and a twist of the bezel, you'll dive right into the watch's apps. Here you'll be able to place and receive phone calls (through your phone), check text messages, view the weather, see the news from Flipboard, view locally stored photos and more.
To turn the device on: ? Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on. To turn the device off: 1. Press and hold the Power button.
To turn the watch on, press and hold the Power/Home button until the screen lights up and the Samsung logo is displayed. Note: If you are unable to turn your device on, plug the device into a power source for 15 minutes and then try again. For information on charging your device, see the Charge Battery tutorial.
Samsung Gear Sport audio
Gear Sport integrates a microphone for voice controls but does not integrate a loudspeaker. It is therefore not possible to use the smartwatch for phone calls. To answer a call from your wrist, you will have to remove the phone from your pocket.Voice controls are also lacking on this watch. The Gear Sport still has S Voice as its voice assistant, and it's not even turned on by default.
To download an app, navigate to Samsung Gear or Galaxy Wearable > SETTINGS > Samsung Galaxy Apps on your phone. Galaxy Apps has a multitude of useful apps along with many customized Watch faces. Browse through Galaxy Apps, and then select a desired app. Touch INSTALL, and then once the install is completed, touch OPEN.
Press and hold the Power button until "Rebooting" appears under Samsung Gear S2. Screen will go go black then come back on. Press and hold the Power button until the device begins to reboot. The Gear S2 resets.
From the app's main navigation menu found on the left top screen, Go to “My Devices” and open the watch you wish to unpair. Scroll down and at the bottom of the screen and tap “Remove this Device.” Finally, go to the phone's Bluetooth settings and select your watch name to forget or unpair the device.
Samsung Galaxy Watch - Delete Paired Bluetooth® Connection
- From the watch screen, press the Home button to open the apps screen.
- Tap Settings .
- Tap Connections.
- Tap Bluetooth.
- Tap the applicable connection.
- Tap the Settings icon. (on the right).
- Tap Unpair.
Turning the Galaxy Watch on and off
Press and hold the Home key (Power key) for a few seconds to turn on the Galaxy Watch. When you turn on the Galaxy Watch for the first time or reset it, on-screen instructions will appear to download and install the Galaxy Wearable app on your mobile device.On your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app, swipe to and then tap Find My Watch or Find My Gear. Tap Set Security, and then tap Reactivation lock. Tap the switch to turn it on. Enter the password for your Samsung account, and then tap OK.
Powering the Galaxy Watch Active2 On & Off
Press and hold the Home key (Power key) for a few seconds to turn on the Galaxy Watch Active2. To turn off the Galaxy Watch Active2, press and hold the Home key (Power key), and then tap Power off.Confirm that the Samsung Gear S is turned off. Press and hold the power button until “Galaxy Gear Rebooting” shows up on the screen. Release the power button and then press it repeatedly until the “Reboot Select Mode” appears on your screen. Press the power button again to highlight the “Recovery” option on screen.
Hard Reset SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch Active 2
- In the beginning, turn the SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch Active 2 watch on by pressing and holding the Home button for a couple of seconds.
- After the watch turns on, press the Home button again to open the App menu.
- Now find the Settings icon and tap on it.
- Once in Settings, scroll down and tap on the General.
- Now select Reset.
