We're making it easier for site editors to share a selection of images in new Sites by creating a new image carousel. You can use this new content type to highlight images on your site, like a project page where you can feature concepts and designs, or share photos from a conference on an event page.
To create a new presentation:
- Open the Slides home screen at slides.google.com.
- In the top left, under "Start a new presentation," click New . This will create and open your new presentation.
Add photos & videos from Google Drive to Google Photos
- On your computer, go to photos.google.com.
- At the top right, click Upload. Google Drive.
- Find and select your photos.
- Click Upload.
Go to images.google.com, click the camera icon, and either paste in the URL for an image you've seen online, upload an image from your hard drive, or drag an image from another window.
Steps
- Click ☰. It's at the top-left corner of the window.
- Click Sharing. It's near the center of the menu.
- Click the shared album.
- Click the “Add photos” icon. It looks like a photograph with a plus sign, and it's near the top-right corner of Photos.
- Select photos to add.
- Click DONE.

Change your picture
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app .
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Google Account.
- On your Google Account page, tap “Personal info.”
- Under “Profile,” tap your current profile picture, tap. Set Profile Photo.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to choose or take a photo.
Whether you are using Google Photos on the mobile apps or the web version, you will see the Create Link option under Sharing. When you click or tap on it, a unique link is generated. You need to copy this link and send it to the person manually with whom you want to share that particular photograph.
Steps
- Enter an image search query. Type a word or phrase into the text box in the middle of the page.
- Click the "Search" icon.
- Find your image. Scroll through the results until you find one which matches your needs.
- Open the image. Click the image once to do so.
- Copy the image's URL.
- Paste the URL.
Click New in the upper-left side of the window (desktop), or tap + in the lower-right side of the screen (mobile). Select the "Photos" option. Click File Upload (desktop) or tap Upload and then tap Photos and Videos (mobile). On Android, you'll tap Images instead of Photos and Videos here.
all the photos and videos you store in Google Photos are private and visible only to you unless you intentionally share any. You can check which albums or photos you may have shared by reviewing the Shared screen of the Google Photos app or visiting the corresponding page photos.google.com/shared of the website.
Please ensure to have 'Backup & sync' enabled on the Google Photos settings while you're backing up your photos and videos. Sign out and sign back in to Google Photos (photos.google.com) with the same Google Account. Clear your cookies and cache. Try Incognito/private window.
How to Copy and Paste on Google Slides
- Click on a string of text and press Control+C or Cmd+C to copy the element.
- Press Contrl+V or Cmd+V to paste the text on your slide.
- Select an entire slide object like a text box or image by clicking on it, then press Command or Control+C to copy it.
Insert image
Install the Google Slides app (Android or iOS), login with your Google account, and tap the floating action button (the red circle with a plus sign [+] in it) to create a new presentation. Tap the plus sign [+] in the top menu, then choose Image from the menu.Step 1: Sign into Google Drive and open the Slides file containing the slide you want to copy. Step 2: Select the slide to copy from the list of slides at the left of the window. Step 3: Select the Slide option at the top of the window, then click the Duplicate slide option.
Open your presentation, click File, and then select "Publish to the Web". Choose the amount of time before the slides advance. You can also select the option to have the slideshow begin automatically and to restart the slideshow after the last slide (looping). Click “Published content & settings”.
How to create a slideshow from Google Photos or Google Drive
- With an album open in Google Photos on the web, select the vertical three-dot menu in the upper right, then choose Slideshow.
- In Google Photos in your browser, select +Create, then Movie in Google Photos, and then choose up to 50 images or videos.
