You can now renew your Vehicle Registration (Istimara) without MVPI (Fahas)
You can check expiry date of your car's Fahas either by looking into the Fahas certificate or by simply checking the sticker on your car's windshield. You will see the month torn out from the sticker showing when your current Fahas will become invalid.
In order to collect Istimara after transferring the car ownership;
- Take a Muroor appointment with the purpose ????? ???? ??? ?????.
- Visit the traffic police station with your Iqama.
- Collect the new Istimara.
FAHAS in Saudi ArabiaDriving a vehicle in Saudi Arabia requires a FAHAS or Motor Vehicle Periodic Inspection (MVPI) certificate. To renew the Istimara and Vehicle Registration FAHAS is Mandatory. FAHAS is also mandatory to sell or change ownership of the vehicle.
Istimara is the vehicle registration card that is issued to a car owner which is a mandatory legal entity that must be accompanied while driving a car in Saudi Arabia. Driving a car without a valid registration card (Istimara) under your name is a crime and is subject to legal penalties.

Doha: The annual technical inspection for the renewal of your vehicle registration (istimara) will cost double from July 1, 2018. Inspection fee for a private passenger car at the Fahes centre will double from QR75 to QR150 from next month. The fee for motorcycle inspection will be QR100, which was earlier QR50.

Check Car Owner in Saudi ArabiaUnfortunately, there is no online way to check the name of the owner of a car using the registration number in Saudi Arabia. In case the car is involved in some unlawful activities, you can inform the police about it and they will check and track the owner themselves.
Steps to complete the service

- Enter the identity of the person you wish to authorize.
You are required to renew your vehicle registrations every year and in order to do so, you must meet the following requirements: They must have cleared all traffic fines. Pass yearly technical inspections (for vehicles older than three years).
Login to and renew the driving license online through Absher system. Get a print out and visit the Traffic Police Department Dhahran along with the driving license to receive the renewed Driving License Card. Expected Time: 1 days.
2. Bank Receipt for renewal Resident permit (Iqama) (SAR 500 for one year and SAR 1000 for two years), for domestic servants the renewal fee is SAR 600 per year.
Check Istimara Validity in KSALogin to your Absher account. Click Services, then Vehicle Services. Click the Renewal Registration Vehicle option, and you check the Istimara Expiry date in this section. Close the section once you check your car Isitmara validity or expiry date.

Sequence number of a vehicle can be found in Absher under Vehicles section and it can also be found on your Istimara card. You can also get it through SMS.
