More than 100 Red Rooster workers are jobless after seven Queensland stores closed their doors. The stores' owner Sunstate Foods Pty Ltd went into voluntary administration on Monday afternoon, forcing the shut down of stores across the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay.
Multiple fast-food chains have seen closures over the past few years, and some are facing even more due to the coronavirus. Applebee's recently announced it's closing 200 branches, while Steak 'n Shake just announced it's permanently closing 51 restaurants.

Healthy options: Considering only the number of calories, burgers at McDonald s are healthier than ones at KFC but it is not the case with the French fries, where KFC serves healthier fries when compared to a small serving of fries at McDonald s. McDonald s serves chicken nuggets which has only 194 calories.
Kebab and burgers
For a healthier option, go for a shish kebab, which is a skewer with whole cuts of meat or fish and is usually grilled. If you're having a burger, avoid breaded or battered chicken or fish patties, extra cheese, bacon strips and high-fat sauces such as mayonnaise.As with McDonalds, a standard hamburger comes out as one of your lowest calorie choices, or if you're a chicken fan, you could go for the 210 calorie crispy chicken salad. On the side, Burger King now also offers apple fries, which contain just 30 calories and give you a bonus serving of fruit.
