To resolve this conflict with another connected printer (that is directly connected to your computer via USB cable), please power off the Silhouette cutting machine, power on the printer, then power on the Silhouette cutting machine. This typically resolves any USB conflicts.

Unlike the desktop version of Silhouette Studio which requires Silhouette Studio Designer Edition or higher to open SVG designs, the Silhouette mobile app will open SVG designs for ALL users with a Bluetooth Silhouette machine (Silhouette CAMEO 3 or 4, Portrait 2 or 3). In addition to working with designs in Silhouette Studio® that you purchase from the Silhouette Design Store or create from scratch, you can also import bitmap, or raster, images. These include JPG, PNG, and BMP files. These types of files are, simply put, pictures that you can open in Silhouette Studio®.
The most likely reason for being unable to open a certain file is because you are trying to open an incorrect file type for your software. Remember, SVG files cannot be opened in the free basic edition of Studio, which is why we provide the DXF for basic edition users.
Exporting Cricut Compatible Files from Silhouette StudioExporting or saving designs from Silhouette Studio as SVG is as easy as File > Save As > Save to Hard Drive > (File type) SVG. Then head over to Cricut Design Space and open the SVG.
Silhouette Studio running slow may be caused because of an outdated version of the applications. The developers launch a lot of beta versions and not all of the installations are stable. Now, go to Silhouette Studio's official website. Download the latest stable release either for Mac or Windows.
One other reason files may not be downloading to the library is if you are a user on an old software version prior to v3. While Silhouette Design Store files do not count towards the library storage, if your cloud library is showing a full in the bottom left corner, this can cause syncing issues.
This might especially happen for the following reasons: The file in use is rather large file, or you have a large number of duplicated copies of an image. The graphics card driver is not handling the software program well and so the program is running slowly or crashing.
Download the free Silhouette app to your phone, iPad or other mobile device. When the app launches the first time it will take you through a series of instructional slides. Move through them selecting your cutting machine.

Unplug the CAMEO 3 power cord from the machine. Hold the power button down on CAMEO 3 and then plug the power cable into CAMEO3 . Continue to hold down the power button until the LCD screen turns light blue.
