Using a gasoline oil is a very bad idea. Check your engine manufacturers oil specifications published in the owners manual and stick with it. No exceptions. Modern engines, gasoline and diesel, are very different from those designed between 1980 and 2010.
Red diesel is a fuel used to run 'off road' vehicles, particularly tractors and other agricultural vehicles. Although it is essentially the same as standard road diesel – known as white diesel – it attracts around 40% less fuel duty, meaning it is significantly cheaper to buy.
Petrol is easily distinguished by its unique yellow tint. Diesel is little brown with green tint. Kerosene is having its blue color.
Kerosene is a lighter diesel oil than #2, hence why it is designated as #1 diesel. Kerosene doesn't contain very high levels of aromatic compounds; they typically get concentrated in the #2 and heavier diesel fuel oils. This is part of the reason kerosene burns drier, with less lubricity, than #2 diesel.
It's estimated that one in every eight litres of diesel sold in Ireland is illegal. Laundered diesel comes from rebated green fuel which is also known as marked mineral oil. It's sold at a reduced rate of duty to commercial white diesel. It's green because it contains a dye made up of Solvent Blue and Solvent Yellow.
Red diesel is similar to regular diesel with only one important difference – it contains a red dye to make it distinguishable from white diesel for authorities, such as the police or VOSA (Vehicle and Operator Services Agency) who may need to inspect it. This is because it is subject to lower taxes than diesel/derv.
If you do run out of heating oil for your furnace, you can make your way to any gas station that sells diesel and put the diesel fuel in your oil tank. Both of these can be used in your furnace without a problem, and they will burn just as good, if not better than some heating oil that is available today.
A: Yes, there is an alternative to red diesel, but only for heating applications. This is called Industrial heating oil and is a zero VAT fuel. This fuel can only be used in heating applications. Learn more about the benefits of switching from red diesel to industrial heating oil.

This is considered the threshold for dangerous climate change. However, banning new petrol, diesel and hybrid cars won't be enough on its own. The government will also need to tackle the emissions coming from energy generation.

Pros of petrol
Financial: petrol is cheaper than diesel fuel and the cars tend to be slightly cheaper to buy and service. Environmental: While CO2 emissions are higher than diesel, petrol cars produce less of some other dangerous emissions like nitrogen. Driving experience: petrol engines tend to be less noisy.United Kingdom Diesel prices, 01-Jun-2020

Fuel economy is the distance travelled per unit volume of fuel used; for example, kilometres per litre (km/L) or miles per gallon (MPG), where 1 MPG (imperial) ≈ 0.354006 km/L. In this case, the higher the value, the more economic a vehicle is (the more distance it can travel with a certain volume of fuel).
