Android: Remove
the battery to shut down instantly.
Instead, try the following:
- Silica Gel. The best common drying agent is silica gel, which can be found in the pet aisle of your grocery store as “crystal” style cat litter.
- Couscous. Instant couscous or instant rice are acceptable substitutes for silica.
- Open Air.
Wet Port: If the charging port of the mobile phone is wet or has retained some moisture the “moisture detected” message will not go away unless you get rid of it.
Bury your phone in a container of uncooked rice, and leave it there for about 1 to 3 days. The rice attracts the moisture inside the container which will make the water evaporate faster. To ensure that all the water has been absorbed completely, leave your phone on the rice container for 24 to 36 hours or longer.
Ensure that no moisture is present in your charging port or charging cable, as actual liquid exposure is the most likely cause of this warning. If you notice or suspect moisture, immediately power the phone off and attempt to dry the area with a small static-free cloth.
Best answer: The Galaxy S9 is still fine a phone, and holds its own in 2020 thanks to its solid specs, great screen, and updated software that mostly matches the Galaxy S20. That makes it worth a look if you want Samsung on a budget.
Samsung was previously committed to providing only two major OS upgrades for its Android smartphones. This meant that two years was as long as the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ were going to be supported.
Whenever your phone gets wet, dry it thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth. Do not expose the phone to salt water or ionized water. If your phone is exposed to salt water, wash the phone with fresh water, and then dry thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.
It's IP67-rated water-resistant, has wireless charging (two things Samsung has pioneered for years, yet the A51 does not include), the same processor as the one in Apple's flagship iPhone 11 for superior performance, and packs a solid camera.
The S20 range has an IP68 rating. This is the highest possible level of dust and water protection among current market leading phones. You can rest assured that your phone will withstand 30 minutes in water up to 1.5m deep with no issues.
Waterproof ratings are ideal for keeping phones safe while spending a day at the pool or getting caught out in the rain, but some people take it to the next level by using their phones to take pictures underwater. Never an issue with the phone. Didn't do the same with my Note 10 yet but it should be just fine.
So Samsung S9 does not support 5G. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is probably gonna be the first 5G enabled phone. Now the Samsung Galaxy S9 does not have a 5G bandwidth. Usually the connectivity of higher bandwidth won't come through software updates.
