The ideal size is 1,200 pixels wide by 675 pixels tall (or an aspect ratio of 16:9). The minimum size is 600 pixels wide by 335 pixels tall but larger images will look better when your followers click to expand the image.
For example, if an image measures 3,840 x 5,760 pixels and you want an 8- x 10-inch print, take the longest edge in pixels and divide it by the longest edge in inches of the target print size: 5,760 pixels ÷ 10 inches = 576 ppi.

4 Answers. JPEGs have a narrower range of features than RAW files, so you can expect that your generated JPEGs will be no better than your original RAW files. Depending on what features and format were used to record your original RAW data, you may notice significantly reduced quality.

What is a high-resolution image? A high-resolution image is anything that has at is 300 dpi high resolution with a larger pixel dimension, for example, 5000 x 4000 pixels. If you have an image that is 640 x 40 at 72dpi, you definitely have too small of an image!
If you're running a Windows computer or laptop, you can use the free Paint application to change the resolution by increasing or decreasing the number of pixels in your image. Start Paint and load the image file. In Windows 10, press the right mouse button over the image and pick Resize from the popup menu.
How to Check the DPI of an Image. To find out an image's DPI in Windows, right-click on the file name and select Properties > Details. The quick answer is that higher resolutions lead to better scans for reproducing your images. 600 DPI scans produce much larger files but help ensure every detail in your print is recorded in digital form. If you want files that are easier to work with, 300 DPI scans would be a better choice.
