How to Mirror an iPhone to a Roku Device
- Open the Control Center on your iPhone.
- Then tap Screen Mirroring.
- Next, select your Roku device.
- Then enter the code from your TV on your iPhone.
- Finally, tap OK to mirror your iPhone to your Roku device.
It does not have Chromecast built-in but with the Roku system that it has you can send your YouTube videos from your phone to Roku in the same way you send it to the Chromecast. When you click on the Chromecast icon on your phone you will see something like TCL Roku TV as a selection to send the YouTube video.
iOS 12 & 13
- Install the Mirror for Roku Streaming Channel.
- Launch the Mirror for Roku app.
- Click on 'Start Mirroring' to start mirroring on the device that is currently selected.
- Select 'Mirror for Roku' and press 'Start Broadcast' to start mirroring on your selected device.
Can I adjust screen mirroring settings?
- Press the Home button. on your Roku remote.
- Select Settings and then select System.
- Select Screen mirroring.
- After you open the screen mirroring settings, choose a setting to adjust.
One thing you can do is to screen mirror Facebook from your mobile phone or tablet. While this isn't strictly the Facebook app for Roku, the result is the same. You can browse your profile or watch Facebook Live or Facebook Watch on your television. Make sure your Roku device is correctly connected to your TV.
Turn on your Oculus Quest headset and put it on. From the Universal Menu, select Sharing. Select Cast from the Sharing menu. Choose the device you want to cast to.

Troubleshooting steps
- Connect the mobile device and your TV to the same network.
- Depending on your Android TV menu options, make sure that the Google Chromecast built-in app is enabled.
- Clear data on Cast function apps, Android System WebView and Google Chromecast built-in.
- Reset your TV.
- Restart the mobile device.
You don't have to pay any subscription fees to use a Chromecast, although you'll still have to pay for services like Netflix and Hulu to access them. If you're using a computer with Google Chrome, you can "cast" nearly any webpage onto the TV, and view the internet in a higher resolution.
Unfortunately, there is no native web browser included as one of the channels on a Roku device. There are only two web browser channels included, the Media Browser and the Reddit Browser. Neither are actual full-featured web browsers. The Media Browser only lets you play movies, TV, and music.
Your Roku® streaming player or Roku TV™ provides you with access to stream video and music from the internet and does not provide the ability to browse the internet on your television.
NOTE: Be sure you have wireless network name and password.
- Press on your remote to open the main screen.
- Scroll down and select Settings.
- Press the right arrow button and select Network.
- Press the right arrow button and select Wireless.
- Your TCL Roku TV will start scanning for available wireless network.
