So the piglins don't attack you when you have gold armor, but I think this should apply to netherite as well, since netherite is an alloy of gold and ancient debris. Netherite contains gold so if you were it I think it shouldn't aggravate the piglins.
Zombie pigmen are able to drown, but cannot be killed by lava, other then drowning in it. Because they are well-armed, zombie pigmen are highly dangerous to an unsuspecting player, also considering the Ghasts and horrible terrain of the Nether.
Piglins are provoked by any player who: Is not wearing any piece of gold armor. Attacks a piglin or piglin brute, regardless if the player kills it in one hit or not. Opens or breaks a chest, trapped chest, ender chest, shulker box, barrel, minecart with chest, or minecart with hopper.
Kill one of these 34 mobs:
- Blaze.
- Cave Spider.
- Creeper.
- Drowned.
- Elder Guardian.
- Ender Dragon.
- Enderman.
- Endermite.
From the wiki: When in the Overworld or the End, piglins transform into zombified piglins after 15 seconds. This is part of their behavior, and cannot be protected from this any way in game (like putting them in water or protecting them from the sun, etc. After 15 seconds, they will turn into a Zombie Piglin.
Zombie Pigmen carry golden swords, and have 11 hearts of health. The attack strength of Zombie Pigmen vary between difficulties; Easy; 1 hearts of damage. Normal; 2.5 hearts of damage.
Zombie Pigmen are a neutral mob that spawns when a pig is hit by lightning and in the Nether. They are only hostile when they or one of their group (within 16 blocks) is attacked. Then, it can be hard to avoid them while jumping over lakes of lava and avoiding other types of hostile creatures.
How to Cure a Zombie Pigman. Zombified piglins are not curable. You cannot feed them any golden apples, and they are not affected by regeneration. Once a piglin or pig turns into a zombified piglin there is no saving them.
When the Nether Update is released later this year the zombie pigman will be no more. Instead, it is being renamed to the zombified piglin, to bring it in-line with the new mob, the piglins, that will be added.
So the Warden is a very scary sounding and looking monster but I don't think players should be the only ones to fear it.
Notable information from the wiki on the topic of Zombie pigmen: Zombie pigmen will remain hostile for 20 to 39.95 seconds, and will continue to pursue an already-targeted player after this time until the player escapes their 40 block pursuit radius.
67-111 blocks, according to the wiki. 32 blocks is the range they hear it at, but 16 blocks is their sight range so pigmen 17-32 blocks away won't visually react until you get closer. I recommend luring them in and retreating to the spot the original cry came from before fighting them (so that it doesn't spread).

Soul Fire doesn't burn down wood, unlike regular fire.
No mobs other than villagers can open doors.
Pigs. A zombified piglin spawns when lightning strikes within 4 blocks of a pig. If the pig is a piglet, it then transforms into a baby zombified piglin.
The piglin brutes aren't afraid of the stuff that normal piglins do, such as soul fire, soul torches, soul campfires, zoglins and zombified piglins.
Warped Fungi is the favorite food of striders in Minecraft. Players will need to feed this to them if they wish to tame them. Players will not need warped fungi to ride striders, but they will in order to control direction.
