Fanatec and Thrustmaster charge a lot more for leather wheels. The Logitech G29 gets you higher-end extras at no extra cost. Its pedal board is much better than anything else at the price too, with a board that has a clutch and very solid metal plates. There is one reason to prefer a Thrustmaster wheel, though.
However if you purchase any of the below games on the same console that your Thrustmaster wheel is compatible with, then the game will be playable.

In the desert of available racing wheels for the PlayStation 4, the Thrustmaster T80 might just be good by default and, on its own merit, befits its price point. It's not close to having the features that the hardcore crowd will want, but it's affordable and dependable for what it's worth.

The Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas 4 requires installation to work correctly. To install your controller plug in the USB cable to the USB port on your PlayStation 4. Once your controller is recognized, there will be a light on your controller that turns red. Then you must sign into your Sony Entertainment Network account.

Thrustmaster
- Plug your steering wheel when the PS4â„¢ menu appears (for T300 & T80, the base's switch must be put to the PS4 position before connecting the USB plug)
- For T300 & T80 (only) press the “PS†button on the wheel and connect your wheel to your PROFILE.
How to install drivers and firmware to your Thrustmaster wheel
- To download both, head over to the Thrustmaster support page.
- Choose your wheel.
- Scroll down to the drivers section where you'll find a .exe file download for drivers and firmware combined.
- Download this and install it to your Windows PC.
