The TEF Canada exam requires a certain level if you really want it to be effective and useful for you (reach level 7 minimum). That is why you must be already have a certain level in French when you prepare this exam. The oral and writing comprehension is usually not to hard because it is a multiple choice test.
It will require extremely hgh levels of commitment, dedication and passion to learn French enough to get a meaningful score. I would expect it to take at least a year of hard work to get you anything more than 10 CRS points. If you haven't aced IELTS, increasing that score would be easier.

There is no indication that CELPIP scoring or the CELPIP test is any harder than IELTS. In fact, it is commonly said they are both very similar in difficulty. CELPIP is said to have a slightly longer listening and speaking section than IELTS. Therefore, the writing section is smaller.

It depends. Personally, as I dislike the test format of the TCF, and the DELF felt easier for me. However, some may not feel comfortable with writing an essay in French for the DELF. You'd also have to take a speaking test for the DELF, whereas the TCF has that optional.

but delf is recognized internationally. If u see quebec immigration, they consider DELF then how comes cic doesnot consider delf even quebec is a part of canada. Because CIC doesn't recognize DELF, if you don't like, complain to CIC, see how far you get.

B2 is the best level to attain as its the passport to all the francophone countries. Any french company requires a B2 before employing someone.

French is relatively easy to learn but it does take some time and effort. As French is closely related to English, I have to agree with the Foreign Language Institute that says that French belongs to the easiest group of languages to learn for English speakers. Having so much common vocabulary helps a lot!
To get a CLB 7, you need to be at a high B2/low C1. Would I take the TEF in a month? No, absolutely not. I'm sure I could nail the reading and get a decent score on listening and writing (probably a bit lower than what's needed for Canada), but I'm really concerned about my speaking.
