You can't stop the Tyrant from chasing you in Resident Evil 2. There are sequences in the game where he'll always be hot on your tail, so until you progress the story, you're going to have to deal with him.
Tyrant has an idea what direction you went, and will search each room in the perimeter to find you. He can't pinpoint you unless you fire a gun or start running. Then he can hear you. Even if he's in the room, he still has to see you.
X is a Tyrant, one of the most infamous monstrosities in the Resident Evil universe, while the Nemesis, a different enemy in its own right, is created largely from the body and physique of a Tyrant. But Mr. In fact, the full name of the T-Virus is actually the Tyrant-Virus.
Tyrants are tough, but Nemesis is OP compared to the rest of the Tyrants. Nemisis would win because 1. He has the rocket launcher and can explode everything in his path, 2. He doesn't die that easy and is the main boss through the game which tyrant was not and 3.
X hounds you off and on for the entire game, effectively serving as the final boss (or second to last, if we're talking about the 2nd Run). But if you choose Claire Redfield, he's killed by the William Birkin creature during a cutscene around the story's halfway point.
Although you cannot kill Mr. X in his initial police station encounter, you can stagger him with shots to the face and other weapons. We recommend saving your ammo and running.
You can't kill him, no, but put enough rounds into Mr. X and he will drop to one knee, giving you time to run away and do whatever it is you need to.
If you didn't play the original game, Mr X is an indestructible enemy that will stalk you around the Police Station in the game's B Scenarios - but now he appears in the main story, which is bad news for us. You'll encounter Mr X shortly after you find the Club Key and Heart Key as Leon and Claire respectively.
When you're running from Mr. X, it can seem like it takes forever for him to stop chasing you finally. However, if you know where you're going, you can keep the chases to a minimum.
No he stops following you after you get into the sewers because the G Mutants down there are a big threat to him so he doesn't risk going down there.
"Mr. X" stands about 8 Inches in height, easily towering over many other Palisades figures (and other figures of a similar scale).
TL;DR--- "Mr. X" (T-103) is a Tyrant with a trenchcoat that can be controlled. People use this name because "Tyrant" can mean any one of different types of creatures created by Umbrella. It eliminates confusion.
Characteristics. Tyrants are characterized by their increased height. While Zombies also mutate due to renewed hormone production, Tyrants grow to more radical proportions, from over seven to as high as twelve feet tall.
