Extremism always leads to violence. Extremism can apply to issues such as nuclear weapons, rights for fathers and animal testing. Some extremist groups believe that they are following God's instructions. Extremist groups sometimes target susceptible young people.
Radicalization (or radicalisation) is the process by which an individual or group comes to adopt increasingly radical views in opposition to a political, social, or religious status quo.
Extremism is essentially a political term which determines the activities that are not in accordance with norms of the state, are fully intolerant toward others, reject democracy as a means of governance and the way of problem solving and also reject the existing social order.
Extremists, on the other hand, believed in agitation, strikes and boycotts to force their demands. Some of the extremist leaders were Lala Lajpat Rai, Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Bipin Chandra Pal, Aurobindo Ghosem Rajnarayan Bose and Ashwini Kumar Dutt.
Background. Moderates believed in the policy of settlement of minor issues with the government by deliberations. But the extremists believed in agitation, strikes, and boycotts. Nationalists led by Lokmanya Tilak agitated against the Moderates.
The extremist proposed Swaraj or complete self-governance. Dadabai Naoroji, A.O. Hume and Gopal Krishna Gokhale were some of the faction Moderates Leaders. Aurobindo Ghosh, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai and Bipin Chandra Pal were the Extremists leaders of our nation.

An extreme environment is a habitat characterized by harsh environmental conditions, beyond the optimal range for the development of humans, for example, pH 2 or 11, −20°C or 113°C, saturating salt concentrations, high radiation, 200 bars of pressure, among others.
Extremism has tended to refer to both violent and non-violent forms of political expression, whereas terrorism is predominantly violent. Targeting non-violent extremism as if it were terrorism is a problem because it directs counter-terrorism efforts against people's political identities instead of political violence.
Signs that may indicate a child is being radicalised include: isolating themselves from family and friends. talking as if from a scripted speech. unwillingness or inability to discuss their views.
