United Express. United Express is the brand name for the regional branch of United Airlines, under which seven individually owned regional airlines operate short- and medium-haul feeder flights.
Every flight. Every day. Together, United and United Express operate approximately 4,900 flights a day to 362 airports across six continents. In 2019, United and United Express operated more than 1.7 million flights carrying more than 162 million customers.
United Airlines has an average fleet age of 15.1 years. Its short-haul A319/320 aircraft are, on average, about 20 years old, as are the midrange 757s and 767s and many of its 777-200s as well. Delta has an average fleet age of 15.8 years, with its 112 MD-80/90 aircraft averaging 26 years of age.
United Airlines said on Friday that it will cancel Boeing 737 Max flights until September 4, while American said it would pull the plane until August 18. Southwest said it would pull the plane until at least August 10. The airlines previously planned to return the plane to service in early June.
United Airlines operates 791 aircraft, giving it one of the largest commercial airline fleet in the world. It primarily operates a mix of Airbus and Boeing narrowbody and widebody aircraft.
United mostly flies Boeing 737 and 757 narrowbody aircraft from its West Coast hubs, which are pretty similar to Alaska's 737 experience, but if you're coming from Chicago, Washington DC, or Newark you can grab a Boeing 767, while these aren't terribly exciting in economy (31” of legroom in a 2-3-2 seating
Almost every airline in the world lists the aircraft type on the reservations page of its website. Start by doing a search for your preferred flight. While every website is different, you will typically find aircraft information displayed near the flight details.

In the past, Delta purchased or leased older generation aircraft and it flies aircraft for 20–30 years, much longer than most other major airlines.
United has 14 of the 737 Max jets in its fleet. Sixteen more have been produced for the airline, with 155 on order.
United won't fly the Boeing 737 Max until summer, even if the plane is cleared to fly sooner. United's latest schedule change, which will remove 80 daily flights from its schedule in April and 108 in May and early June, is notable because it went further than Southwest and American.

Because it had been the largest airline operating in the New York market, the People Express hub at Newark would permit Continental to expand its East Coast services dramatically. However, the overnight merger of multiple airlines led to poor service that caused an initial loss of passengers.
United Airlines is the third largest airline in the world, with 86,852 employees (which includes the entire holding company United Airlines Holdings) and 721 aircraft. It was the brainchild of William Boeing and emerged from his consolidation of numerous carriers and equipment manufacturers from 1928 to 1930.
