The keyboard combination "CTRL W" or "CTRL+W" means pushing both the CTRL key and the W key at the same time. For Microsoft Windows programs such as Excel, pushing CTRL and W simultaneously closes the focused window. This means that whatever window the user is operating is closed.
For older versions of Android (before 6.0), in Settings > Developer options > Process statistics you can tap on an active app and choose Force stop. In any version of Android, you can also go to Settings > Apps or Settings > Applications > Application manager, and tap on an app and tap Force stop.
Close all open programs
Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete and then Alt-T to open Task Manager's Applications tab. Press the down arrow, and then Shift-down arrow to select all the programs listed in the window. Closing a window
Press the Ctrl and F4 keys on the keyboard at the same time to close the current open program or window. Alt+F4. Alt+F4 is a shortcut key most often used to close the current active window. For example, if you pressed the shortcut key now while reading this page on your computer browser, it would close the browser window and all open tabs.
Search for Device Manager in Windows Search and open it. Double-click on Keyboards and you should find your keyboard device. Once done, reboot your computer and recheck the Alt+F4 keyboard shortcut. If updating the drivers fail to work, you may try to reinstall them after uninstalling them.
Pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL prevents an application from spoofing the login screen and stealing your password. So if you see something that looks like a login screen you could press CTRL-ALT-DEL to make sure. Corporations would ask employees to not enter their password unless they have pressed CTRL-ALT-DEL first.
The only way to safely close the popup window is then to close the browser entirely by Ctrl-Alt-Del then clicking the Applications tab of Windows Task Manager.

In some situations, you may need to right-click on an icon, text, or other Windows element. To do this without a mouse, select the icon or move the cursor to the text you need to right-click. Then, press and hold the Shift and F10 keys at the same time.
