Faulty graphics card drivers are the main cause and some people resolve the problem by updating or rolling back the driver. The version of AMD Radeon Settings and the version of the installed driver may be mismatched. You can fix it using Registry Editor.
Option 1 – Download and install the driver manually
- Go to AMD Support center.
- Search for your AMD Ryzen model or filter by the product list.
- Choose your AMD Ryzen model, such as AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX.
- AMD will automatically detect your operating system (in my case it's Windows 10 – 64-Bit Edition).
What you want to o is go to your control panel and select uninstall a program and uninstall the AMD Catalyst Control Center, when asked select express uninstall, not complete or full uninstall. Lastly install you downloaded version of the software.
The Gigabyte Radeon RX 560 OC offers good performance for the money in its 2GB version and a degree of future-proofing in its slightly more expensive 4GB version. Both offer good build quality, high performance cooling and silent operation options via the supplied overclocking software.

In Radeon Settings, click on the Updates menu option. NOTE! If a new driver is available, the menu option will show New Update. Select Check for Updates and if a newer driver version is available, the following screen will be displayed indicating the driver version available to be installed.
