Click the gear icon, and then select “Export vCard” in the pop-up menu. By default, the VCF file downloads to the “Downloads” folder on your PC.
It is also supported by iPhone iPad. To tansfer VCF contacts to iPhone, you do not need to convert VCF file, you can directly import them to iPhone Contacts app. VCF contacts also known as vCard contacts. They are not exactly the same.
You can only share one vCard at a time.
- Tap the "Contacts" button from the iPhone's home screen, and then select the contact you want to forward.
- Touch the "Share Contact" button, and then "Email" or "Message," depending on how you want to send it.
- Enter the recipient's email address or phone number when prompte.
Import contacts from your SIM card to your iPhone
- If your iPhone isn't using the SIM from your old phone:
- Tap Settings > Contacts > Import SIM Contacts.
- Wait for the import to complete.
- If you swapped SIM cards in step 1, remove the SIM card and replace it with your iPhone SIM card.
- Open Contacts and make sure that the contacts imported.
Set up iCloud Contacts
- Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud. If you're using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings > iCloud.
- Turn on Contacts.
- When you're asked if you want to Merge or Cancel, tap Merge.
Open the email containing the contacts on the iPhone and tap on the vCard.vcf file attachment. Tap on “Add All # Contacts” to import the address book to the iPhone* – this may take a moment depending on how large the address book is and how many contacts that are in the vcard file.
Keep Contacts Between Windows 10 and iOS Synced
- Tap Add Account.
- Choose Outlook.com.
- Sign in with your Outlook.com email address and password and approve the access, if prompted.
- Toggle on the items you want to sync.
- And that's it.

On iPhone and iPad:
- Go to Settings and tap your avatar at the top.
- Tap iCloud.
- Toggle the Contacts option to On.
- If asked, tap Yes to merging your contacts.
Check your app settings
Make sure your iCloud Contacts and Calendars are set to appear in the Contacts or Calendars app: Open the Contacts app and tap Groups in the upper-left corner. Make sure that All iCloud is selected. Make sure that all iCloud calendars are selected.On your iPhone > Go to General > iCloud > Turn off contacts in iCloud > Power off the phone and then power it back on > Turn contact syncing back on. If the above still not working, try re-login your iCloud account from your iPhone: Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > iCloud > Delete Account.
Steps
- Open your device's Settings. It's an app that is likely shaped like a gear (⚙?) or one that contains a set of sliders.
- Scroll down and tap Accounts.
- Tap Google.
- Slide the "Contacts" button to the "On" (right) position.
- Click on the other Google options that you want to sync.
Step 1: Go to "Settings" App on your iPhone X/8/8 Plus. Step 2: Tap on "[your name]" and then choose iCloud. Step 3: Turn on "Contacts" and then choose "Merge". Then you have successfully downloaded the contacts from iCloud to your iPhone X/iPhone 8.
Move to Settings and go to Contacts >Tap Default Account >Select iCloud. To sync contacts to iCloud, Wi-Fi network or cellular data network is required. Just open Settings >click on General > Reset> Reset Network Settings. Note: Please check whether your problem of iCloud contacts not syncing to iPhone still persists.
Transferring contacts from Microsoft Excel to your iPhone is a three-stage process. First you must export the contacts from Excel to a Comma-Separated Values, or CSV, file. Finally, you sync those contacts from Outlook to your iPhone via iTunes. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB for best connectivity.
Sync all items of a content type
- Connect your device to your Mac.
- In the Finder on your Mac, select the device in the Finder sidebar.
- Select a type of content you want to sync in the button bar.
- Select the “Sync [content type] onto [device name]” checkbox to turn on syncing for that type of item.
Restore contacts, calendars, and more in Settings on iCloud.com
- In Settings on iCloud.com, click Restore Contacts (in the Advanced section). Available versions are listed by the date and time they were archived.
- To the right of the version you want to restore, click Restore. There may be more versions than can be shown at once. Scroll to see more.
Go to Settings > Tap on your Apple ID's profile part > Click iCloud > Select Contacts > Tap on it to turn it on. Select Merge when it says, “What would you like to do with existing local contacts on your iPhone”. Wait for the contacts on old iPhone syncing to new iPhone.
Google Introduces An Easier Way To Sync Gmail Contacts To Your iPhone
- Open the Settings application on your device.
- Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Select Add Account…
- Select Other.
- Select Add CardDAV Account.
- Fill out your account information in the following fields:
- Select Next at the top of your screen.
To import contact data from a CSV file to your iPhone, you must first import the data from the CSV file to a contact management program that is compatible with the iPhone. If you are using Outlook, launch the application, click the “File” menu, select “Open,” and select “Import.”
Method 2: Upload CSV File to iCloud using Run Command
- To import CSV contacts to iCloud, press Windows + R keys or simply click on the Start button and search for Run.
- In the Contacts window, choose Import option from the navigation bar.
- Next, browse the location of the CSV file and select the file.
Sign in to your account at iCloud.com. Next, choose "Contacts." Click the "Gear" button on the lower left and choose "Import vCard." Select the VCF file you just created to upload and display its contacts.
In Contacts on iCloud.com, click the Action pop-up menu in the sidebar, then choose Import vCard. Select a vCard to import. Contacts from imported vCards are added to the All Contacts group. You can add contacts to any other group by dragging them to the desired group.

iCloud: Import a contact into iCloud Contacts. You can import vCards using Contacts on iCloud.com. Contacts can import vCard format version 3.0 and later. Click the Action pop-up menu in the sidebar, then choose Import vCard.
Method 2 – iCloud
- Head up to iCloud.com via your computer.
- Select the contacts that you want to export. either one by one.
- Click the gear again and select Export vCard.
- Plug your Android phone to the computer, copy the VCF file to the local storage and import the contacts from the Contacts or People app.
