You can access ESPN+ via the existing ESPN app on a variety of streaming players, mobile devices, and smart TVs. It costs $5.99 per month or $49.99 annually. You can also bundle ESPN+ with Hulu and Disney+ for $12.99 a month.
Watching live ESPN channels will still require a paid TV subscription, whether from cable, satellite, or a live TV streaming service. The app acts as a gatekeeper by requiring users to sign in with their TV provider account to enable live viewing.
How to Watch ESPN+ on LG Smart TV?
- On your LG Smart TV, Open the ESPN App.
- Select Sign Up after installing the ESPN App.
- Sign up by entering your login details.
- Add subscription to your ESPN Account.
- Now your ESPN App will stream.
With older Apple TV devices you can use an app called AirPlay ESPN+ to stream from your iPhone to your TV. For Android users, you could use Cast ESPN+ to push the feed from your phone to a Google Chromecast.
Sling TV is your cheapest option for an ESPN live stream. The Sling Orange plan gets you 34 networks including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3 and entertainment networks like A&E and TBS. That costs $30 per month.

Our verdict: Do it. With the notable exceptions of live NBA basketball and live NFL football, most major sports are well represented when their seasons are active, with lots of content focused on baseball, NHL, MMA, UFC, college sports, and soccer (both international and MLS).
ESPN Plus supports a wide variety of devices, so you should be able to stream on just about any screen in your house. Both iOS devices (iOS 11.0 or higher) and Android devices (Android 5.0 or higher) can access the service with ease via the ESPN app, with the ability to cast streams onto a Chromecast.
