Jeans, pants, or shorts, or other clothing that are worn-through, frayed, torn, or have holes in them, even if the holes are below the knee, are not acceptable campus wear. In public, leggings and tights may only be worn under clothing that is knee-length or longer.
Immodest clothing is any clothing that is tight, sheer or revealing in any manner. Men and women should be neat and clean and avoid being extreme or inappropriately casual in clothing, hairstyle, and behavior. Pants, slacks or jeans should not be patched, faded, frayed or torn and must be ankle length.
BYU Beard Card. BYU enforces a strict honor code, especially when it comes to grooming standards. One of the most heavily contested of these rules involves men's facial hair. The honor code states: “Men are expected to be clean shaven; beards are not acceptable.”

Honor codes are self-regulating because under an honor code, students are required to turn in other students in violation of the code.
Honor codes, like Trinity's, are an important part of education because they give the control of those issues to the students themselves. They gain a sense of personal responsibility. A different academic environment is created with an honor code. Students are expected and trusted to do the right thing.
