For those who are on the road a lot and away from their Wi-Fi network, the 4G iPad can easily be worth the added cost. The best thing about the data plan for the iPad is the ability to turn it on or off, so you don't have to pay for it in months that you won't use it.
If the iPad is Wifi only, it cannot have a data plan. Only wifi +3g iPads can have data plans. A Data plan is a Cellular service that lets you access ther internet via the Cellular providers network. If the iPad is Wifi only it cannot connect to a cellular network, therefore it cannot have a data plan.

When you use an iPhone or iPad to geotag a photo, the accuracy is about 100 feet (about 30 meters), because Apple only stores GPS data down to the nearest second in latitude and longitude. With iOS 13 and 13.1, "Find My Friends" is replaced by an app called "Find My". But when you install iOS 13 or 13.1, there's no notification as to what has happened - the app is just gone.
Open the app and, on the very first screen, tap ENABLE MOCK LOCATIONS. From the Developer options screen, tap Mock location app and choose FakeGPS Free from the list. Open the Find My app and you'll see three tabs at the bottom of your display. You'll see the two people that originally symbolised the Find My Friends app logo in the bottom left corner. Tap on this tab and you'll find the list of your friends and family that you have shared location data with.
Just type "spoof location" or "change location" in the search bar of the App Store and select one of the apps. 2. If you are using macOS or Windows, you can use an iTools program to change your location. Just plug in your iPhone via cable to the computer and set a fake location via iTools.
Faking GPS Location on iPhone

These steps don't apply to the Google app.
- On your Android phone or tablet, do a search on Google.
- Scroll to the bottom of the search results page. You'll see your location.
- To update your location, tap Use precise location.
- If you're asked to share your device's location with Google, tap Allow.
Tap on “Settings.” Scroll down and tap on “Location” (which is under the “Privacy” subhead). You can toggle “Location History” on and off here; you can also click on “Location Services,” which will take you to the Android “Location access” page, where you can turn location access completely off.
Turn GPS on or off - Apple iPad Air
- From the home screen, tap Settings.
- Tap Privacy.
- Tap the Location Services switch to turn GPS on or off.
- The GPS status is now changed. Note: When GPS is enabled, a list of applications that access the feature is displayed. Tap any item in the list to change its GPS access.
Although turning the iPad's cellular data off does not affect its built-in Global Positioning System, the iOS Maps app needs continuous data from the Internet to work properly. There are, however, map apps that work without Wi-Fi or a cellular connection, such as Google Maps, CoPilot Premium and Garmin's Navigon.
If you want to test this, go to the Settings app and turn off Cellular Data, Bluetooth and WiFi. Even with all of its wireless radios off, the iPad will still show your position on ForeFlight or Garmin Pilot (again, assuming it's a 3G/LTE model).
Tap Notifications. Scroll down to "People & Places" and tap Updates to your shared location. Select Importance Low (No sound or visual interruption).

Stop Google from tracking you on an Android smartphone
- Step 1: From your phone's settings menu, scroll down and select “Location.”
- Step 2: Scroll down and select “Google Location History.”
- Step 3: Turn “Location History” off using the slider.
- Step 4: Click “OK” when the dialog box appears.
Location sharing doesn't work. It won't work because the CPU (the computer part) is turned off and is not processing locations from the GPS. The GPS is also turned off. And the radios used to talk to the cell network or wifi are turned off too, so no sharing can happen.
There are various reasons why you are not able to see your friends' location. The date on your friend's device might be wrong. The device might be switched off or not connected to cellular data or Wi-Fi. The “Location Services” in your friend's iPhone might be off.
To enable Find My iPhone on your child's device, or your own, open the Settings app on the device you want to track, then tap the iCloud tab. Enter the Apple ID password for that device, then tap the Find My iPhone tab and finally tap the Find My iPhone slider so it is ON/GREEN.
Share and View Locations in Messages
