Answer: Yes. The outside of your cup is the onlyarea being powder coated. Powder coating the outsideof your YETI does not mean you can put it in the dishwasher.well you CAN, but YETI says it'll ruin the vaccumseal in your cup so yeah.
They Can Lose Their Vacuum Seal and TheirEffectiveness
Yeti cups work so well because there isa near vacuum between the outer and inner wall ofthe cup which heat struggles to get through, making ita great insulator. When completely full of water Yeti tumblers don'tfloat, they actually sink to the bottom. This is becauseYeti tumblers are made of stainless steel which is denserthan water and they are vacuum sealed, meaning there is no air inthe tumbler, just a vacuum (aka nothingness).

Cups sweat due tothe beverage making the outside of the cupcold, causing condensation. Because Yeti cups have a vacuumsealed gap the outside doesn't get cold but rather stays atroom temperature and thus doesn't cause condensation.

This ink is printed on specially coatedsublimation paper, which is specifically used forheat press transfers as it properly releases the ink when heatedand does not allow the paper to absorb the ink duringprinting. Iron-on transfer paper is not the same, andwill not work in a mug heat press.
