Hyde Park's popular Winter Wonderland event has been cancelled this year. Organisers said they explored "every possible option" but the ongoing health concerns and uncertainty surrounding Covid-19 means that is not possible.
Swansea's Waterfront Winterland has been cancelled for 2020 but there will be a new Alpine Village.
We can confirm that the Cardiff Christmas Market will return to the pedestrian streets of Cardiff City Centre in 2020, subject to any Covid relevant legislation/guidelines current at the time from the Welsh Assembly and Cardiff Council respectively, in order to make your visit as safe and as enjoyable as possible.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is FREE to enter, so join us and enjoy the festive atmosphere. There are a number of ticketed attractions and we recommend advance booking. Tickets can also be purchased at the Box Offices on site, subject to availability. Please arrive in plenty time before your first booked session.
Winter Wonderland opens at 4pm on November 21 and ends on January 5, 2020. After November 21 it will be open every single day from 10am to 10pm. The festive attraction is free to enter - but you need to buy tickets for some of the extra activities.
The Mayfair Car Park, on Park Lane is open 24hours a day, 7 days a week. Located outside the congestion zone and the car park entrance/exit is opposite one of the main entrances to Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland. It's free to charge your vehicle, however, normal parking charges still apply.

Hyde Park is one of eight London parks managed by The Royal Parks. When it started in 2007, all Winter Wonderland's rides and attractions were arranged in a single avenue alongside the park's Serpentine Road. The event has grown and is now built over thousands of floor panels that are laid to protect the grass beneath.
