Press Alt+Space to bring up the window menu, press S to choose the Size option, use the arrow keys to resize the window, and lastly Enter to confirm. Click the Maximize button in the top right corner of the window. Click the title bar and drag the window to the left, top, or right edge of the desktop.
Use the zoom options to make everything on a webpage larger or smaller.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More .
- Next to "Zoom," choose the zoom options you want: Make everything larger: Click Zoom in . Make everything smaller: Click Zoom out . Use full-screen mode: Click Full screen .

Press and hold the Ctrl key, then move the mouse wheel up or down. Alternatively, you can press and hold the Ctrl key, then press either + or - (plus or minus) to increase and decrease the font. You can use Zoom on a computer through a web browser. It is possible to use the Zoom web client with the following web browsers: Internet Explorer 10 or higher. Microsoft Edge 38.14393.
Enter into the Settings by clicking on the gear icon.

- Move the slider and the image on your screen will start to shrink.
If you are talking about screen resolution, go to the settings and then system and then in Display settings change your screen resolution to recommended.
First, try changing the size of what's on the screen.
- Stay in Display settings. Scroll to Scale and layout.
- Next, in Change the size of text, apps, and other items, select an option. Typically, it's best to choose the one that's marked (Recommended).
- Right-click on an empty area of the desktop and choose "Screen Resolution" from the menu.
- Click the "Resolution" drop-down list box and select a resolution your monitor supports.
- Click "Apply." The screen will flash as the computer switches to the new resolution.
- Click "Keep Changes," then click "OK."
Press Start button on the keyboard, type Mouse & Touchpad settings and select the top most search result. From the window click on Additional mouse option. Click on the Device Settings tab and click on Settings button. From the left side panel, click Pinch Zoom option and uncheck the box Enable Pinch Zoom.

You should be able to select a zoom level and get it to stick. Try this: With only one IE window and 1 tab open, go to Internet Options> Advanced and check "Reset zoom level for new windows and tabs" Click OK. Set the zoom level you want.
In the new tab that opens, scroll to the bottom and click "Show advanced settings." Now scroll even further until you see the Web Content section. And that's where you'll find the global page-zoom setting. Click it to choose the default you want.
It sounds like you are accidentally either using the scroll wheel on your mouse, or a keyboard combination to change the zoom on your computer. Holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard as you scroll with the scroll wheel on your mouse.
Make everything on your screen bigger or smaller
- To make your screen bigger, decrease resolution: Press Ctrl + Shift and Plus .
- To make your screen smaller, increase resolution: Press Ctrl + Shift and Minus .
- Reset resolution: Press Ctrl + Shift + 0.
In the Control Panel window, under the Appearance and Personalisation section, select Adjust Screen Resolution. On the next screen, select the drop-down menu for Resolution. Drag the slider down to make the screen resolution smaller - this will increase the size of all items on the screen.
Zooming in or out on Firefox and ChromeThere is also a keyboard shortcut for zooming out. Hold control and the minus key located just next to the plus key. You can also do a combination of the ctrl key on the keyboard and your scroll wheel on your mouse.
If you hold down the CTRL and the ALT key and hit the up arrow that will straighten your screen out. You can also try the left and right arrows if your screen is sideways and you can also hit the down arrow if you want to turn it upside down for some reason and that's it!
Uninstalling the Zoom client for Windows
- In the Windows search bar, search for "Control Panel"
- Click the Control Panel app.
- If Control Panel is set to Category view, click Uninstall a Program.
- Select Zoom in the programs list, then click Uninstall.
- If prompted "Are you sure you want to uninstall Zoom?", click Yes.
Turn on MagnifierTo turn off Magnifier, press the Windows logo key + Esc . If you prefer using a mouse, select Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Magnifier > Turn on Magnifier.
Pinch your fingers together or apart. Tap the Magnifying Glass (zoom) icon to zoom to wherever the mouse is pointing. Tap the Zoom Slider icon to display a slide on the right side of the screen. Use the slide to zoom in or out to wherever the mouse is pointing.
If the images on the desktop are larger than usual, Windows Magnifier is most likely turned on. Your operating system is most likely using this mode if the desktop is zoomed in. If you don't want to use Windows Magnifier, pressing the "Windows" and "Esc" keys together automatically disables it.
Press the Windows key and then tap the plus sign to turn Magnifier on and zoom the current display to 200 percent. Press the Windows key and then tap the minus sign to zoom back out, again in 100-percent increments, until you return to normal magnification.
