Physically, Hobgoblins are generally portrayed as being very large and strong, usually at least as tall as a human. They range from rust to amber in color and sometimes have blueish purple noses or ears. Their ears tend to be overlarge and they have either dog-like or extremely long noses.
Bugbears are almost universally incredibly tall and muscular, the smallest of them being the size of an average human, and the largest being 6 or 7 feet tall. In some ways, they simply resemble bigger hobgoblins: They stand upright, they have sharp, triangular ears, and have rather big teeth as well.

All published Dungeons & Dragons creatures are under copyright protection. The normal loopholes apply: for example, if a creature is too common to be copyrightable, or if you make fair use of it.
An owlbear's coat ranges in color from brown-black to yellowish brown; its beak is a dull ivory color. A full-grown male can stand as tall as 8 feet and weigh up to 1,500 pounds.
Ecology[edit]
Carnivores, bugbears will eat the flesh of anything they can kill, including other sapient creatures - common goblins hate and fear their bigger cousins precisely because the bugbears will just as soon spitroast or stew a goblin as it will a frog, hare, pigeon or wild boar.Bugbears resemble hairy, feral goblins standing seven feet tall. They take their name from their noses and claws, which are similar to those of bears. Their claws are not long and sharp enough to be used as weapons, so bugbears often armor and arm themselves with a variety of purloined gear.
Bugbear base land speed is 30 feet. Darkvision out to 60 feet. Automatic Languages: Common, Goblin. Favored Class: Bugbear.
