This brings the count to six people who already have hidden immunity idols: Sandra, Denise, Adam, Kim, Sophie, and now Jeremy. We are interested to see how all of these idols play out this season. Survivor airs on CBS Wednesdays at 8 pm ET.
Sandra Diaz-Twine, the winner of both Pearl Islands and Heroes vs. Villains, got bamboozled badly by Philippines winner, Denise Stapley. Sandra traded Denise her Immunity Idol for both of Denise's Fire Tokens, one to be given to Sandra before and one after Tribal Council.
Once the idol is used, it is usually re-hidden. Typically, these idols are valid up until there are only five castaways remaining in the game (including Redemption Island). In Survivor: One World, while there is only one camp, there are still two idols; one for each tribe.

Hidden immunity idols first appeared 10 years ago, during season 11, which aired in the fall of 2005. However, their role in the game has shifted over time. Survivor Guatemala introduced the hidden immunity idol. It was used like the immunity challenge necklace, preventing anyone from casting votes against its holder.
Adding even more complexity and unpredictability is the inclusion of fire tokens, which can be used to buy strategic rewards or food.
Unlike in Survivor: Edge of Extinction, Winners at War contestants were not given the option to decline heading to the Edge of Extinction, though they could raise the mast immediately upon arrival. When voted out, players must bequeath all of their tokens to remaining players before heading to the Edge of Extinction.
