Very loosely based on a true story, it's the tale of a hero dog, traumatized by his owner's death in Afghanistan, who bonds with his dead owner's troubled teenaged brother. It seems ol' Max has PTSD as well, but together these two outsiders foil what appear to be some evildoers up to no good.
