At the end of the book, new baby-daddy Neil decides to be a deadbeat dad, and leaves his and Olive's baby Declan in the care of Sydney and Adrian for Reasons. The in-series logic for Sydney and Adrian being foster parents makes zero sense. Apparently, they have to do it to hide Declan's identity.
Yes, it was a total failure. With such a low performance, it makes sense that the producers decided not to risk filming a sequel. And, seeing they didn't even recoup their investment, it is more than understandable that the Vampire Academy 2 movie was never filmed.
In Shadow Kiss, Rose sees his ghost around the Academy as the result of the weakening wards. Mason tries to give Rose clues but is waved off, she thinks she's going crazy. Later on, he appears to her and manages to tell her, "They're coming" meaning Strigoi were on campus.
Dhampir and a Moroi can reproduce, with the offspring always being Dhampir. In addition, they can bear children with humans, but whether or not the child will also be Dhampir is unknown. Dhampirs eat like regular humans, but in larger amounts, as their bodies burn through food much faster than humans do.
Although Dimitri attempts to get Rose and Lissa into court to testify, it is ultimately Adrian who gains them entry. On the plane ride to Court, Rose is struck with a horrible migraine, but shakes it off as they arrive at Court; Dimitri and Alberta accompany Rose, Lissa, Christian, Eddie, and Adrian.
Lissa uses a silver stake charmed with spirit to turn Dimitri back into a dhampir when he was a Strigoi, and he becomes eternally grateful towards Lissa, thinking of her as an angel. Their friendship continues, as Lissa was named Queen, while Dimitri becomes the Guardian of Lissa's boyfriend, Christian Ozera.

She is later kidnapped by the Warriors of Light, who think she is a Strigoi, and is rescued by Eddie, Dimitri, Sydney, and the others.
The MPAA rated Vampire Academy PG-13 for violence, bloody images, sexual content and language.
Vampire Academy IS a movie! It came out in theaters on February 2014 and is available on DVD. Currently, there are no plans to make a sequel or turn the Bloodlines series into a movie.

The series ends with Lissa's coronation. As she is crowned the new queen, Lissa shares a humorous look with Rose in the crowd. Rose, embracing Dimitri and feeling happier than ever with his love and Lissa's triumph, tells him she thinks that the future will be good.
At the end of The Ruby Circle, it is revealed that Rose and Dimitri are engaged, although Rose says the engagement will last for a little while before they get married. She even says that she made it clear she has no intentions of getting married until there is a two at the beginning of her age.
Rose's and Lissa's spirit bond broke because Roses body faught and saved herself after being shot.
