Pakistan's 10-wicket win over neighbours marked the first time it beat India in a World Cup match. Jubilant cricket fans poured onto the streets across Pakistan on Sunday to hail their team's rout of India at the T20 World Cup in Dubai.
It was held from 11 to 22 October 2017 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The winner of this tournament qualified for the 2018 World Cup in India. India won their third title after defeating Malaysia 2–1 in the final, while Pakistan captured the bronze medal, beating South Korea 6–3.
