PUBG Mobile is banned and blocked in India. Tencent Games will now terminate all service and access for users in India to PUBG Mobile in India.

PUBG Mobile was banned in India because it had its roots running to China's Tencent Games -- a decision that came riding over the anti-China sentiment following the clash at the border. After the ban, the game was playable until the servers were shut down by the previous publisher.

In a big surprise to gamers, PUBG, which is the most popular gaming app in India with the most number of downloads, was banned in the country on September 2 over security concerns. The government said the app, like many of the Chinese apps that were banned, was engaged in activities prejudicial to India's sovereignty.
It is developed by Sea Ltd, a company which originated from Singapore. The owner Forest Li was born in China, he shifted to Singapore and he is currently a resident of Singapore only. Garena Free Fire is not a chinese app and has not been banned.

PUBG Mobile, the sleeper hit mobile game, will terminate all service and access for users in India on October 30, two months after New Delhi banned the game in the world's second largest internet market over cybersecurity concerns.
As of now, the official website of Shein or the mobile application has not stopped its operations in India. Users have also been given an option to pay on delivery for some of the orders. Though the ban on Shein has been implemented in India, the company seems to be carrying out their operations in India.
