A marble fox is an artificially selected crossbreed between two different types of wild foxes to produce a marble coat of black, white, and sometimes brown fur. These coat colors are not naturally occurring in the wild, or at least they're so rare as to be negligible.
Are Arctic foxes endangered?
Least Concern (Population stable)
The swift fox is omnivorous and has a varied diet of rabbits, mice, birds, reptiles, insects, berries, and seeds. Its main source of food consists of prairie dogs and ground squirrels. Predators of the swift fox are coyotes, eagles, hawks, and man. Coyotes are the primary predator of the swift fox.
ferret, also called fitchet, either of two species of carnivores, the common ferret and the black-footed ferret, belonging to the weasel family (Mustelidae).
How big is a red fox?

The Swift Fox is one of the fastest animals in the region of North America. It can run up to a speed of 37 mph (60 kph).
If it died, the consumers that feed on it - rabbits, insects and slugs - would have no food. All the other animals in the food web would die too, because their food supplies would have gone. The populations of the consumers would fall as the population of the producer fell.
The foxes, hawks, and owls would have less to eat without the rabbits. As a result, fewer foxes, hawks, and owls would live in the ecosystem because there would be less food for them. The rabbit example shows that to protect an ecosystem, every part must be protected, including both the prey and the prediators.
If decomposers were removed from a food chain, there would be a break down in the flow of matter and energy. Waste and dead organisms would pile up. Producers would not have enough nutrients because, within the waste and dead organisms, nutrients would not be released back into the ecosystem.
There would be more food for the rabbits and slugs, so their populations would increase. However, there would be less food for the frogs and voles, so their populations would decrease.
Foxes are omnivores and eat small mammals, birds, reptiles, frogs, eggs, insects, worms, fish, crabs, mollusks, fruits, berries, vegetables, seeds, fungi and carrion. In summer they eat lots of insects like crickets, beetles and caterpillars as well as frogs and mice.
If all the foxes are removed from the ecosystem, mice will have less predators. Remember that foxes are not the only predators of mice and in a food web, all the prey and predator are connected to each other. Thus, the removal of foxes will reduce the total predator count, not reduce it to 0.
If one species in the food web ceases to exist, one or more members in the rest of the chain could cease to exist too. A plant or animal doesn't even have to become extinct to affect one of its predators.
Humans are said to be at the top of the food chain because they eat plants and animals of all kinds but are not eaten consistently by any animals. Most humans also eat animals further up the food chain. Because they eat both plants and animals, humans are considered omnivores.
When one of the links (species) in a food chain is no longer present (for example a species goes extinct or a feral animal takes over), the food chain breaks. Sometimes, this can cause other animals in the food chain to disappear as well and the whole ecosystem can become imbalanced or even collapse.
There are between 9,840-19,200 remaining individuals worldwide as of the last assessment, which was in March of 2019, though the population is currently decreasing.
SAVING THE SIERRA NEVADA RED FOXUnfortunately, this unique animal is one of the rarest mammals in North America and is now limited to only two tiny California populations that likely consist of fewer than 50 — and possibly even fewer than 20 — individuals.
The Sierra Nevada red fox (Vulpes vulpes necator) is incredibly rare, with as few as 50 individuals thought to exist in North America. Prized for their vibrant coats, red fox populations were devastated by hunting and trapping during the 19th and 20th centuries.
There are between 9,840-19,200 remaining individuals worldwide as of the last assessment, which was in March of 2019, though the population is currently decreasing. All other fox species are listed as being of least concern at this time.
The California species' numbers have drastically plummeted. On Aug. 9, 2021, the USFWS officially announced that the Sierra Nevada red fox, which is native to California, is receiving protection under the Endangered Species Act as an endangered species.
Are red wolves extinct?
Least Concern (Population stable)
In North America red foxes pose a great threat to ground-nesting birds such as duck and grouse. This is all in addition to being a threat to poultry, small farm animals, and children. The most commonly used method is fox baiting, which involves setting baits with 1080 poison.
Nearly half of the world's rabbit species are in danger of extinction. According to the IUCN, the population size of several species are declining. A number of species are listed as endangered, including the Amami rabbit (Pentalagus furnessi), found in Japan, and the European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus).
Foxes are protected under a series of wildlife protection laws against poisoning, gassing, asphyxiating, maiming, stabbing, impaling, drowning, clubbing and most forms of snaring, with anyone carrying out such acts subject to 6 months imprisonment and/or £5,000 fine per animal.
The Arctic fox is not endangered world wide and it is estimated that there are several thousand arctic foxes left in the wild. Two arctic fox populations are endangered, however. One in Russia has been reduced to around 90 animals because of a mange caused by ear ticks introduced by dogs.
If polar bears were to go extinct, the population of walruses, seals, whales, reindeer, rodents and birds would increase and get out of control. Since seals create breathing holes, in about 100 to 200 years this will break up the ice and split the arctic circle.

The Arctic Fox is a limited ultra-rare pet, which was added to Adopt Me! on December 14, 2019 as a part of the 2019 Christmas Event. As it is now unavailable, it can only be obtained by trading or by hatching any remaining Christmas Eggs. Players have a 6% chance of hatching an ultra-rare pet from the Christmas Egg.
Are Penguins Endangered?

While polar bears will continue to be a fan favourite, guests often leave with a newfound love for Arctic fox. Arctic fox, often solitary animals, are also known for their cheeky behavior, often called the “clowns of the tundra.†It isn't often that people get to see them this up close.
While ringed and bearded seals are the polar bears' primary targets, they also hunt harp, hooded and ribbon seal when available. Where seals are plentiful, the polar bears eat only the fat of the animal, leaving the rest for scavengers such as foxes, ravens and other bears.
Fox, red foxes are actually shy and nervous by nature. They are great hunters due to their acute eyesight, hearing and sense of smell. These foxes are able to trace prey by the slightest movement, like a rabbit's ear twitching or a mouse moving its tail. NCC protects habitat for this species across Canada.
We continue to work for the fox by fighting climate change and defending its habitat from all types of other threats, including mining and oil and gas development.
