Activision and Infinity Ward are making Call of Duty: Modern Warfare free-to-play on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but only for a limited time. More specifically, the pair have announced that starting tomorrow Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be free-to-play for anyone on the aforementioned platforms.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Special Ops Survival mode is now available to Xbox One and PC players. The co-op mode launched as a PS4 exclusive feature when the game released in October 2019. If you've been patiently waiting to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered on your PC or Xbox One, the wait is over. The game is now available on those two platforms after a month of PlayStation 4 exclusivity. There's also support for HDR on Xbox One.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer is being remastered by eight fans. The publisher opted not to remaster the multiplayer portion of the game however, and only the single-player campaign was remastered for release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
