The equivalents of a 20 x 30 mm photo are: 2 x 3 centimetres photograph (i.e. photo's width 2 cm and height 3 centimetres) 0,79 x 1,18 inches photograph (i.e. photo's width 0,79 inches and height 1,18 inches)
Although there are plenty of exceptions, most photo prints are made in one of the following sizes:
- 4x6.
- 5x7.
- 8x10.
- 10x13.
- 10x20.
- 11x14.
- 16x20.
- 20x24.

4 x 6 or 5 x 7 in. These sizes are standard and popular photo sizes, typically for displaying photography or smaller artwork.

a 23 inch 1920x1080 pixel LCD screen (110% text size) shows it as 5.75 inches wide.
A good start is to check out the standard frames that are offered in local stores and online; Another way you could decide on best sizes is by checking out your competition and look at the sizes that they offer. This is what I settled on for the majority of my prints : 5×7 inches. 8×10 inches.
- Go to File / Print.
- Select Full page print.
- Uncheck "fit picture to frame"
- Click Print.

Pixel Density is usually measured in PPI (Pixels Per Inch), which refers to the number of pixels present per inch on the display. A higher pixel density per inch allows for more sharpness and clarity when using the device.
For a 4" x 6" print, the image resolution should be 640 x 480 pixels minimum. For a 5" x 7" print, the image resolution should be 1024 x 768 pixels minimum. For an 8" x 10" print, the image resolution should be 1536 x 1024 pixels minimum. For a 16" x 20" print, the image resolution should be 1600 x 1200 pixels minimum.
Go to Tools and select Adjust Size. In the Image Dimensions dialog box, select Fit into: Custom. Change width and height to 400 x 400 pixels for your profile photo. For your background photo, resize your photo to be as close to 1584 (w) x 396 (h) pixels as possible.
According to a moderator of LinkedIn's help forum, the ideal image size is 552 pixels wide by 368 pixels tall (or an aspect ratio of 3:2).
The Photo Compress app available at Google Play does the same thing for Android users. Download the app and launch it. Select the photos to compress and adjust the size by choosing Resize Image. Be sure to keep the aspect ratio on so the resizing doesn't distort the height or width of the photo.
Image Guidelines:Recommended 2560 x 1440 pixels. Safe area for mobile and web (without text and logo cropping) 1546 x 423 pixels. Maximum file size: 4MB. Image types: JPG, GIF, BMP or PNG.
Right click on cilp in timeline to select Crop and Zoom . Then a pop-up window will appear. By clicking manually, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1 and 9:16 at the bottom, you can change aspect ratio with these presets or click Custom to enter the aspect ratio manually. After selecting, click OK.
Twitter Profile Image Size
- The ideal image size for your Twitter profile image is 400px by 400px.
- Your profile image will be uploaded as a square, but it's actually displayed as a circle throughout the site.
- Twitter supports images that are JPEG, GIF, or PNG file formats.
Resizing Images
- Right-click the image you wish to make your company's Twitter profile picture or post alongside a tweet.
- Click the "Resize" tab to be presented with the "Resize and Skew" window.
- Type the number 73 in both the "Horizontal" and "Vertical" boxes if you intend to use the image as a profile picture.
Twitter images sizes for in-stream photos: 1024 x 512 pixels (recommended)
- Minimum size: 440 x 220 pixels.
- Recommended aspect ratio: 16:9.
- Supported formats: GIF, JPG and PNG.
- Maximum file size: Up to 5MB for photos and GIFs on mobile. Up to 15MB on the web.
Reducing an image's size for use on the web requires two steps:
- Reduce the resolution of an image, which changes the number of pixels in the image. When you're working with images for the web, you want to reduce the resolution to 72 pixels per inch (ppi).
- Reduce the image's physical size by reducing its dimensions.
Generally speaking, your vertical photos should have an aspect ratio of 4:5. Anything longer (like 4:6 or 4:7), and Instagram will crop your content. As for size, we recommend going with 1080px by 1350px. That way, when Instagram compresses the photo, it should be displayed at around 480px by 600px.
