A few years back, Movember (or some variation of the scruffy themed-month) was on the unshaven lips of every guy who wanted to turn growing his facial hair into a full-on movement. The reality is, Movember is its own separate thing, with its own separate rules, and yes, it is activism.
On Movember 1st all participants should start completely clean shaven. Movember is for one month only and head starts are not allowed and go against the spirit of Movember.
What is Movember? Movember, the month formerly known as 'November', is a moustache-growing charity event that raises funds and awareness for men's health.

The stigma of men's mental health issuesBy looking at the issue of mental health through a male lens, Movember encourages men to be more open about mental health issues. The charity also aims to “challenge the negative aspects of masculinity and the impact this can have on mental health.â€
What is Movember? Throughout the month of November men are encouraged to grow their moustaches to raise awareness and spark conversation for men's health issues, particularly prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.
Movember started in 2003 as two mates from Australia. Travis Garone and Luke Slattery, jokingly decided to bring back in fashion the moustache by convincing their friends to grow one. Inspired by a friend's mother who was fundraising for breast cancer, they associated the moustache with the pink ribbon, but for men.
Let Your Mo' Grow for a Whole MonthIf you're playing by the Movember rulebook, you're then not allowed to shave off your moustache for the whole of November, although a little bit of trimming and styling is okay – more on this later.
Mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer – we're taking them all on. Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men's health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men's health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

Removing pubic hair is a personal preference. Some girls trim their pubic hair, or go to a salon to have a “bikini waxâ€; others prefer to shave just about every day, but most just leave it alone. It's not necessary to remove the hair in this area to keep your body clean.
Matter of Trust has collected hair clippings from salons and dog groomers since 1999 for its Clean Wave program to make low-tech, tube-like devices called "hair booms." If you got a beard your struggling to depart with until you can find it a good home, you can donate it to Matter of Trust by clicking here.
