Go to www.xfinity.com/authorize from a secondscreen (mobile, tablet or PC) web browser. From the external webbrowser, enter the six-digit device activation code that isprovided in the Xfinity Stream beta app. Still from the webbrowser, enter your Xfinity username and password, thenselect Sign In.
Subscription channels charge you a monthly fee tostream an unlimited number of shows. No cable or satellitesubscription is required. Fees are typically between $6-15 dollarsper month, with many channels offering a variety ofsubscription options.
Comcast is launching a new app called XfinityStream which will be available to all Xfinity subscribersfor free on February 28th. The app is an overhaul of theXfinity TV app and will be replacing it as the tool forsubscribers to access live channels, DVR content, andon-demand titles on the go.
Open the app from the Xfinity Channel in theRoku Channel Store and choose Get Started. You'll seethe Activation Code screen on your Roku orRoku-connected device. Go towww.xfinity.com/authorize from another device (like a mobilephone, tablet or desktop - not from your Roku).
Like internet-based TV services including Sling TV andPlayStation Vue, Comcast's Xfinity Instant TV offersnumerous tiers of channel packages. Aside from the $18 basesubscription, you can add CNBC, CNN, ESPN, Fox News, andMSNBC for an additional $30 per month. That's known as the“sports and news” add-on.
Using the Xfinity Stream App for the FirstTime

- Download the Xfinity Stream app from the iTunes App Store,Google Play or the Amazon App Store on your mobile device.
- Enter your Xfinity username and password and tap Sign In.
- Tap the Yes box to accept the Terms of Activation andproceed.
- After logging in, you will be presented with the For Youtab.
Scroll through the guide and tap the event you want torecord. Tap the “Record” option. Theapp will connect to your DVR and schedule therecording automatically. Select one of your scheduledDVR recordings.

You can watch live TV as well as on-demandshows on your laptop, phone and other devices. There are twoways to do it: via an app or your web browser, or byattaching a USB TV tuner if you don't have aninternet connection. The first way is free, but you'll haveto spend some cash to buy a TV tuner.
How to pair a device:
- Open the X1 Photos Mobile app on your mobile device.
- Select Guest.
- Open the Easy Pair app on your TV, then enter the seven-digitpairing code displayed on the X1 Photos Mobile app.
- A message confirming that your device has paired willdisplay.
- You can now send photos/videos to your TV.
To download an Xfinity On Demand program to your mobiledevice:
- Open the Xfinity Stream app while connected to any WiFi ormobile network.
- Swipe left to right to open the main navigation.
- In the main menu, tap Movies or TV Shows.
- In the upper-left corner of the screen, tap Filter to open theFilters menu.
