Change a shortcut
- Expand the section containing the shortcut you want.
- Select the key binding that you want to change.
- Press the new key binding that you want to use.
- Press Enter to complete the change, or Esc to revert it.
The Extension Management page can also be opened by clicking on the Chrome menu, hovering over More Tools then selecting Extensions.
- Enable Developer Mode by clicking the toggle switch next to Developer mode.
- Click the LOAD UNPACKED button and select the extension directory.
Use a mouse to assign or remove a keyboard shortcut
- Go to File > Options > Customize Ribbon.
- At the bottom of the Customize the Ribbon and keyboard shortcuts pane, select Customize.
- In the Save changes in box, select the current document name or template that you want to save the keyboard shortcut changes in.
How to Delete Shortcuts
- Open a new tab in Chrome.
- Hover over a shortcut and click the three-dot menu icon.
- Select Remove.
- You'll see a notification that the shortcut was removed. Click Undo to restore it. Click Restore default shortcuts to bring back all of them.
Just go to the 'Shortcuts' dialog in the Customize menu.

- At the bottom right, click Customize.

Steps to disable “Ctrl + W”
- Once you open Keyboard you can see bunch of shortcuts listed there.
- Goto the bottom of it and click on the plus button.
- Now you can add a custom shortcut here, Name it something so that you remember that you want to remove it later and in Command put some no-op thing.

How to install a blocked extension in Google Chrome
- Enable the Developer mode option on the top right corner of the extensions page.
- Unpack the crx file (which is a regular ZIP archive) to any folder you want.
- Click the Load unpacked extension button and point the browser to the unpacked extension folder.
When the Extensions tab appears, locate the name of the extension you'd like to enable in Incognito mode and click the “Details” button beside it. On the extension's details page, scroll down and locate the “Allow in incognito” option. Click the switch beside it to turn it on.
In the Chrome menu, navigate to Preferences ⇨ About Chrome and make sure Chrome is updated to the current version. Quit and reopen Chrome. Try signing into Copper again.

- Go to the text-protected website that you want to copy.
Solution
- Close Chrome.
- Search for “regedit” in Start menu.
- Right click on regedit.exe and click “Run as administrator”
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesGoogle.
- Remove the entire “Chrome” container.
- Open Chrome and try to install the extension.
You can also check if Honey is enabled. If Honey is disabled, you can re-enable it in the same section by toggling the button. If you know Honey is installed and enabled for your browser, but still don't see Honey on your toolbar - Chrome may have put it in the puzzle icon.
