Renzo. In Word, click File > Account and make sure that you haven't inadvertently selected the "Black" Office Theme. Choose one of the other options instead. However, since you are seeing white text on a black background, also check if you have enabled one of the high contrast themes in Windows.
Right click on start menu, hit settings, ease of access -> colour filters, then turn on colour filters and set the filter to be grayscale.

To flip it, do the following:
- Right-click the text box and choose Format Shape.
