The game itself should work in the Switch Lite. But the the game controller adapter StarLink uses for those physical SpaceShips (like the one included in the pack) will work only with Joy on controllers. The game itself should work in the Switch Lite.

I recommend the Nadir, the ship itself is the fastest in the game, its pilot has an extremely useful ability in harder areas of the game and the Nullifier weapon is pretty much essential. The Nadir most likely offers the most bang for you buck.
