Touch-free ParkingParkRDU offers “contactless†technology that allows guests to pay for parking without interacting with a cashier. Guests should book parking at least 24 hours in advance using RDU's online booking system.
Airport guests can park at ParkRDU Premier for $3/hour or $22/day. Parking lots at Park RDU Express costs $3/hour or $12/day. Lower rates are available at ParkRDU Central at $2/hour or $10/day and ParkRDU Economy 3 with $1/hour or $8/day. The cheapest parking at Park RDU Economy 4 costs $1/hour or $7/day.
The airport is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
American Airlines began serving RDU with 11 daily flights. Shortly after arriving here, though, the airline announced plans that would increase that number tremendously. RDU was set to become the airline's north-south hub, which would dramatically change the airport landscape and the traveler experience.

At Terminal 2, exit baggage claim and go to zone 17. Rideshare pickup signs might also be available at Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
Free shuttle bus service is available for passengers going from one terminal to the other. Or, you can easily walk between our terminals, which is about a 5-10 minute walk.

Arrival. Travelers should arrive to RDU at least two hours before domestic flights to allow for potential roadway congestion, find parking and complete the airline check-in and security screening process. International travelers should arrive at least three hours in advance of their departure.

If you're not checking luggage, the carrier advises you to arrive at the airport at least 60 minutes before your scheduled departure time. If you're checking luggage, it's 90 minutes. For international flights, give yourself two hours, says United.
The Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) has two terminals serving nine international, domestic, and regional airlines, including Delta Air Lines. More than 400 flights arrive and depart daily, providing non-stop service to 57 domestic and international destinations.

Three airlines at RDU have skycaps who can check you in curbside and check your bags before you step foot inside the terminal. These are: American Airlines. Delta Air Lines.
All ride pickups must occur in the purple prearranged zones: Zone 1 at Terminal 1 and Zone 8 at Terminal 2.
For departing passengers, the shuttle bus service operates from each shuttle bus stop located within both Park Economy facilities. These shuttles will make stops at both terminal buildings. It is only a short walk from the shuttle bus drop off area to the terminal.
Frontier Airlines uses Terminal 2 at Raleigh Durham Airport (RDU).
All carry-on items must meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and may not exceed 22" x 14" x 9". The FAA mandates that all carry-on items fit under a seat or in an enclosed storage compartment.
