If you fail 50% or more of your units in a semester you will receive a letter about 'Academic Progress Review'. This is not a penalty; it is a process for you and the University to work out why you have failed, and to help support you towards the successful completion of your course.

6.0 or a 7.0 are good GPAs in the eyes of an employer. Distinction and High Distinction GPA averages are crucial to secure a job. Graduates with only Passes or Credits will be struggling to find a job these days. In my opinion 5.0 or higher is good.

Combined Matric Level Examination (CMP)
During checking of my result, the system/gazette shows “RW-Fee” against my name and roll number. It means that your result has been withheld due to less fee paid. You need to contact Controller of Examination Conduct.
The results have been withheld because some of the teachers refused to evaluate answer scripts that were above the mandatory limit that was set by the university. Calicut University published the second-semester undergraduate degree results on the evening of 8th May 2019, Wednesday.
