All 16 FREE DLCs for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt are now available for download on every platform. All DLCs are available for download now on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4, free of charge.
The Witcher 3's Switch version will be at least somewhat censored in Europe but a smart man's money is on the game being heavily censored. We have had the first taste with the Switcher trailer coming from Nintendo UK which wildly differs from the regular Nintendo channel's version of the same trailer.
"If you have the base game and the expansions, you technically have the same content as the GOTY Edition." The only difference is the "Title". No different contents. "GOTY Edition" sounds little more catchy, thats all.
Game of the Year Edition includes The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, all 16 DLCs, and 2 Expansion Packs: Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine.
There's no difference, it's the same release that contains the base game + all possible expansions and dlc. The name difference is due to regional marketing. The PS4 edition is known as "Complete" in North America and "Game of the Year" in Europe, but as I said, contentwise it's the same game as the GOG GOTY.
Upon its release, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt became an instant classic, claiming over 250 Game of the Year awards. This edition includes all additional content - new weapons, armor, companion outfits, new game mode and side quests.
The Witcher 3 has been out for well over a year, after all. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition is the complete package, including the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions, and all the individual pieces of DLC that have been released since the game first came out.
CD Projekt Red announced that the free next-gen upgrades for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, meant for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, have target release dates for late 2021 (PDF). CD Projekt Red offered refunds to people who were disappointed by the game, though getting them was a bit of a hassle for a bit.
That order being the following:
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
- Hearts of Stone.
- Blood and Wine.
How to Access the DLC
- Travel to Velen and check the job notice board.
- Taking this notice will start the first Blood and Wine main quest “Envoys, Wineboys.â€
- Follow the waypoint marker to meet with the Toussaint Knights.
- After helping the Knights and completing the quest, you'll gain access to the region of Toussaint.

To get your free Witcher 3, download and open GOG Galaxy 2.0, click the promotion's banner on the Witcher 3 page, and connect to the platform you own Witcher 3 on. The version you'll get is the same one you already own on the other platform, either standard edition or Game of the Year.

Choosing to simulate a Witcher 2 save lets you answer with dialogue options, effectively allowing you to shape Geralt's backstory to an extent. Selecting "No" when asked if you want to simulate a Witcher 2 save disables these dialogue options, and the game presents you with a set of premade outcomes.
