The only place you can kill other players is in cyrodiil, so if you're just questing in your factions zones outside of there then you cannot be killed by other players.
see less Based on my in-game experience, "The Elder Scrolls Online" is a great game for both PVE and PVP type of players. A lot of people complain about the game because some player types (MMO / RPG) are only focused on what they are looking for, but they are still playing the game.
Cyrodiil is the capital province and central battleground of the Three Banners War in Tamriel. The Aldmeri Dominion, the Daggerfall Covenant, and the Ebonheart Pact fight for control of the Imperial City, the Ruby Throne, and the province of Cyrodiil itself.
Does alliance matter in ESO? Alliance has always mattered in ESO as long as you play PvP. In PvE, it has almost no consequence, as ESO in 2020 is updated to “One World”. If you want to play a specific race, but want another faction / Alliance, you should buy the “Any race any Alliance” pack in the Crown Store.
Remember, your friend must be on the same Megaserver (NA vs EU) for you to interact with them within ESO. To add a friend in game, you should approach the character, hold the [Menu] button, and use the [Left Stick] to navigate in the radial menu. From the radial menu, select the "Add as Friend" option and confirm.
You can get the set items free by doing the quests or purchase them from vendors located here. Cheydinhal and Chorrol don't have any vendors, but the quests here give random boxes from the sets in the other towns.
There are plenty of activities in ESO and there is no class that does everything the best. However, in general players like to pick a Magicka Nightblade, Magicka Sorcerer or Magicka Necromancer as the strongest class/ setup in ESO.
Elder Scrolls Online is still a good looking game, even all these years after release. Even though playing ESO on a non-gaming PC doesn't do the game's visuals justice, it can still be run on some surprisingly low minimums.
ESO Tank Class Tier List
- Dragonknight.
- Necromancer.
- Warden / Sorcerer.
- Templar.
- Nightblade.
No.. You cannot inspect other players, their states, armor, buffs/defuffs nor abilities.
ESO has the 3 craglorn raids, MOL and HOF, it also has two mini raids, it get an new full raid with next expansion. They are called trials for some reason.
You can join the Alliance War by opening the PvP menu ( “L” key). In the campaigns tab you can assign yourself to one. Select the campaign again and you will be placed in queue for Cyrodiil.

The three alliances to choose from are the Daggerfall Covenant, the Aldmeri Dominion, and the Ebonheart Pact. Each of these factions are then divided into races, so let's take a look at what the factions are, and what races can you choose from.
Their wealth of ranged abilities complement their physical attributes, giving them great reach but also the capability to go melee should the need arise. Moreover, the versatility of Warden spells and abilities makes them great for healing and DPS roles. With the right build, they can serve as tanks in parties as well.
The easiest solo class is Magicka Nightblade since their spammable is both ranged and self-heals. Combined with assassin's will procs, siphoning strikes and sap essence their ability to self-heal while doing damage is unparalleled in solo content both single target and AoE.
Nord is overall the strongest with males and females both starting 50 strength. Both male and female orcs were only 45, and male redguards were 50 strength while females were 40.
The Curse Necromancer boasts great survivability and decent single-target and AOE damage. This build from Alcast HQ uses Undead Confederate and Mystic Siphon for resource recovery. Its Fire Staff main bar summons allies in the form of Skeletal Arcanist and Stalking Blastbones.
The ESO Templar is a highly defensive class, who aids those in battle whilst strengthening themselves. They are heavily armoured and protective of their allies, intercepting harmful attacks and fighting of large, powerful foes.
Best Race For Warden Class
| Role | Race Name |
|---|
| DPS (Magicka) | 1. High Elf 2. Breton |
| Tank | 1. Imperial 2. Nord |
| Healer | 1. Breton 2. High Elf |
| Versatile | 1. Dark Elf 2. Argonian 3. Orc 4. Wood Elves |
Using an Orc is still a great choice, but in the highest levels of play, the Dark Elf and Khajiit top the charts for best consistent damage. Khajiit may offer better burst potential, but the Dark Elf gives better consistent damage throughout fights without having to depend on critical hits.
Battlegrounds are small-scale player-versus-player (PvP) gameplay that originally launched with the Morrowind chapter of ESO, but are now available to all players. Each battleground features a three-sided team setup with four players in each team, and you are able to queue up individually or in pre-formed groups.
In the Alliance War, you battle your fellow players for the glory of your Alliance in Cyrodiil. Console players can access the Alliance War by navigating to Main Menu, then Campaigns.
How do I travel to Cyrodiil?

- Select a campaign, and press [E] to enter the queue.
- After a few seconds, a message will show below the select campaign regarding campaign access.

You can access Battlegrounds from the Activity Finder and run a random battleground to obtain a special reward and increased XP. You may also travel to Vvardenfell and the city of Vivec, and find an area with the battlegound master, to the right of the Pyramid where Vivec resides, on ground level.
If you wish to leave Cyrodiil, you can do so via the wayshrines located at the entrance of your Alliance base. From there, you can travel to any other wayshrine that you have discovered previously by selecting your desired location and confirming transport.
A Campaign consists of players from all 3 alliances fighting in Cyrodiil. The goal of a campaign is to restrict the number of players who can fight in one PvP zone simultaneously therefore making the fighting less chaotic.
