PUBG on console absolutely feels like the more refined and "serious" version to play, but it also feels compromised compared to what you can find on PC. Conversely, PUBG Mobile is built for mobile, works well, and is better than ever as of the New Era update.
As of September 1, 2020, PUBG is free for PS Plus users. Like usual, players will only have one month (exactly 35 days to be a little more precise) to download both games, or at the very least, add them to their library.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is arriving on Sony's PlayStation 4 on December 7th. The base game will be priced at $30 on the PS4, with a “survivor's edition” at $50 and “champion's edition” for $60.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on PlayStation 4 does not support native 4k resolution.
PUBG Mobile was already starting to ascend in 2019, but with the coronavirus pandemic, the game has skyrocketed in both downloads and revenue. In March 2020 when the world went into its first lockdown, PUBG Mobile made $270 million a month in revenue.
Every first-person shooter game (or even third-person shooter game) that allows you to play on PC instead of console is easier than on console. Mouse + keyboard allows for better aiming, every single time. Any game can be easier on any console.
Pretty much everything that people claiming is causing the death of the game, besides bugs, is not on unofficial servers. Just because all of that happens on official servers does not mean the game is dying, because there is more to the game than just official servers. So no, the game is not dying.
Conclusion. ARK: Survival Evolved is totally worth it for both single-player and multiplayer experiences. People who enjoy survival games will enjoy a game much less stressful than Rust, along with a crazy amount of dinosaurs. If you don't enjoy survival type games, then you won't like ARK.
On the more powerful hardware, "Ark" runs at a crisp 60 frames per second at 720p resolution, or between 30-60 frames per second at 1080p should the user decide to use the "Detailed Graphics" setting in the options menu, something that the game doesn't explain at all.
If you want to play Ark on a console, play on Xbox One X – although that won't be smooth either. If you really want to play Ark at the best it can be though, PC is the way to go.
So each system is its own community. PC has the best moding and server set up. The others have mostly just ease of play.
Within a month of its early access release on Steam, Ark had sold over one million copies. By August 2016, the game had over 5.5 million sales across both Windows and Xbox One, with about 1.5 million from the Xbox One platform.
Overall it's a fun game. If you have a creative mind and a lot of patience then it's a great game. Also, when you get bored on single player, you can always cheat and become God haha. I've tried to give it a chance many times but I am just not a fan.
