Locate the console that you want to remove, and tap the Info icon next to it. Tap “Unregister.” Read through the information on the screen, then tap “Unregister” again. The app will no longer be linked to the Nintendo Switch console.
The Nintendo Switch eShop will always match the country setting for your Nintendo Account. If you need to change your Nintendo Account country, you will access the Nintendo eShop for that country the next time you connect on Nintendo Switch.
If you are eligible for the birthday offer, you will receive an email from Nintendo at the start of your birthday month which can be used straight away. You can then choose to buy your selected title directly on the Nintendo website, or within the Just for You section on the Nintendo eShop – it's that easy.
Deleting a Nintendo Account will result in loss of all data associated to it, including but not limited to: Mission status, points and rewards in the My Nintendo rewards program. Digital content that you purchased or acquired and that is linked to your Nintendo Account, including in-app content and coins.
Go to the Nintendo Account website and sign in to your Nintendo Account. Select User info, then scroll down to the email section and click Edit. A verification code will be sent to the new email address that you entered. Enter the verification code from the email, then click Submit to confirm the change.
You can make changes from "Profile" () in the menu after logging in.
Go to the Nintendo Account website. If you forgot your password or you never set up a password, click Forgot Password and enter the e-mail address associated with your Nintendo Account. You will receive an e-mail with steps to reset your password.
Go to the Nintendo Account website and sign in to your Nintendo Account. Click Reactivate to restore your account.
Complete These Steps:
- From the HOME Menu, select the user page for the user you wish to edit.
- Select “User Settings”.
- Scroll down to the Nintendo Account section, then select "Check Account Information".
- Select "View email address" or "View email address/Sign-In ID".
Can I play my games on more than one system? You can link your Nintendo Account to multiple Nintendo Switch consoles and play your games on any of them using your Nintendo Account. On the primary console, any other users can play the games you downloaded with your Nintendo Account.
Once you have created the Nintendo Account, return to the Nintendo Switch and click "Sign in.” Select the sign in information for your Nintendo Account: "Sign in using e-mail address or User ID” - Enter the e-mail address or User ID and password associated to your account, then click "Sign in.”
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it from the "Forgot Your Password?" link () that can be found on the Nintendo Account sign in page.

What is an Epic Account ID and where can I find it?
- Go to
- Click on Sign-in in the top right corner.
- Sign into your Epic Games account.
- Hover over your Epic Games account name and click on Account.
- Your account ID is listed at the top of the Personal Details page.
How to Access Your Nintendo eShop Account Information
- Select Nintendo eShop on the HOME Menu to launch the Nintendo eShop.
- If there are multiple user accounts on your system, select the account you want to use.
- Select your icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.
The funds will automatically be applied to your balance.
- Select “Redeem Code” on the left side of the screen. You can also reach this by selecting “Add Funds” in your Account Information, then “Nintendo eShop Card”.
- Enter the 16-character prepaid code, then confirm.
- Select “Confirm,” then “Add Funds”.
Visit and sign in to your Nintendo Account.
- From the profile settings, select “Shop Menu”.
- Select “Information About Account Activity”.
- A list of the transactions associated with your Nintendo Account will appear here.
Linking a Nintendo Account to a user account also provides access to the following online features: Access online game modes (online multiplayer, global rankings, DLC, etc) Use any applications that require Internet access (including Nintendo eShop) Earn My Nintendo points for purchases made on Nintendo Switch.
How to Link a Nintendo Network ID to a Nintendo Account
- Go to the Nintendo Account website and sign in to your Nintendo Account.
- Click User info, then scroll down to the Linked accounts section and click Edit.
- Click the box next to Nintendo Network ID.
- Follow the on-screen steps to add your NNID and password.
Enter your Nintendo Account password, then select Send. The current balances from your Nintendo Account and NNID will appear. Select Merge Funds to combine them together. Your balances will be merged together.
Go to the Nintendo Account website and sign in to your Nintendo Account. Click User info, then scroll down to the Linked accounts section and click Edit. To unlink an NNID from your Nintendo Account, click the checkmark next to Nintendo Network ID to remove the link.
