In the TV series they had 9. In the show, Francis had 2 half-siblings, Clarissa and Sebastian, and 8 more siblings from his parents marriage, whom 3 died as infants. Historically, this is inaccurate: Francis had 9 siblings from his parents marriage and 3 known illegitimate siblings.
The series is based ever-so-loosely on the life of Mary Stuart, otherwise known as the Queen of Scots, and it isn't exactly what you'd call historically accurate. So if what you want is a proper historical retelling of the life of Mary, Queen of Scots, then Reign is not the show for you.
The show is historically inaccurate, even in the easiest and smallest details. For instance, although Mary Stuart had Tudor red hair according to marie-stuart.co.uk, Mary is dark-haired in “Reign.” Because the show is so divergent from history, it's hard to predict what will come next.
Queen Mary's reign has come to an end. As expected, and has it happened in real-life, Reign's finale ended just how Mary's life did: she was beheaded in 1587, with the show staging a 21 year time-jump in the final moments.
Everybody sounds generic English (as in England). But we need them to speak English for you, the audience, because that's what you speak.” So I guess British accents = French in Reign's universe. But then in the last episode, a bunch of Scottish people show up in the French court and they speak with Scottish accents.

Reign has come to an end after four seasons, but some viewers were left wondering what had happened to one major character – Bash. That never materialised, though – and Bash was killed off-screen. The CW. "Yes, absolutely," McCarthy told TVGuide when asked if she considered writing in Bash and Kenna.
Lola accidentally killed Bartos and in order to cover it up, they set their home on fire and faked her husband's death, never seeing him again. Some time after leaving, Lola went into labor and gave birth to a baby boy.

The condemnation of the murder of his own brother has caused him to go manic, and that's why he also tries to convince himself that it was God who chose him to rule over France. It's no wonder that Henry has been tripping! At least Henry named his first son Francis, possibly in honor of his brother too.
Francis died from head trauma after he saved Mary from a gang of assassins.
Catherine (unknown to Mary or Francis) tells Olivia to get pregnant by Francis so that she will wed him instead of Mary. It is revealed in the episode Left Behind that Francis screamed out Mary's name while intimate with Olivia. This causes Olivia great pain and she finally accepts that Mary has won.
This is far from a reliable history lesson, and some of its content is too risque for teens, but it is scintillating drama that entertains nonetheless.
In Reign, Francis is fighting fit, handsome and has an equally hot (and entirely fictional) half brother named Sebastian. You can learn LOTS of historical facts watching Reign, chief among them: 1. Everyone in the 16th century dressed like they were at Coachella.

Overall, if that time period interests you (as it does me), you absolutely should watch it. Just don't expect quite the same level as the tudors. (Also as a side note if you loved Sir Francis Bryan in the third season of the tudors, his actor plays a big role in reign).
