8 July 2020: Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus announced and confirmed for ROG Phone 3. Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 865 Plus, along with confirmation that it's going to be powering the new ROG Phone 3.

The Razer Phone 2 can still compete with most top Android flagships in terms of performance and is arguably the phone to beat in terms of gaming and enjoying streaming media. It's also worth the investment for those just bored with phones that all look the same.
The Razer Phone 2 has only received one OS upgrade since its release in October 2018. The former flagship smartphone may still receive security patch updates, but it remains stuck on Android 9.0 Pie with no upgrade to Android 10 in sight.
Call Straight Talk's customer service (Tech support) and give them the Razer Phone 2's IMEI #. If they support CDMA-W phones, then they should support the Razer. I use my Razer Phone 2 with AT&T and it works great. I believe that the unlocked version will work with any GSM carrier.
Razer Phone 2 once again does not have a headphone jack. Razer sells a lot of 3.5mm gaming headsets, but those won't work without a dongle.

The Razer Phone 2 does not have a CDMA radio, which Verizon phones still use as a backup for voice and 3G data when LTE isn't available. Verizon's LTE network is larger and more robust than the 3G network, so you're not losing anything by skipping the CDMA bands.
