Instead, it's perhaps more helpful to determine which positions you should focus on, rather than which players. According to the same model, teams are typically best suited drafting wide receivers and running backs first, followed by a tight end, then a defense, then a kicker, and finally, a quarterback.

I would recommend Fleaflicker.com It doesn't have quite the polish that NFL.com has but it is significantly better with handling most dynasty related concerns (picks, trading, waivers, no off-season down time, etc.) The UI is much more streamlined than MFL, although it is not perfect. It is also free.
Most fantasy football players won't earn millions or even hundreds of thousands of dollars for the same reason the game it's not technically gambling. Namely, it takes a lot of skill. Any contest that combines a high skill level with a lot of potential money will draw in highly skilled competitors who feed on the rest.
If you want to, you can start your own fantasy football league. It only takes a few steps, and you're ready to begin the season. Alternatively, you can start a public league online where random players may elect to join your league. Name your league and have each owner name his or her team.
You have easier access to features and there's no lag like there is in the ESPN app. As someone who basically only uses Yahoo now, I prefer it mostly because I know where to find basically every stat/setting quickly. I haven't used ESPN for a few years, but it mostly boils down to personal preference.

Here's the third noobiest mistake many fantasy rookies make and that's drafting defensive players early in the draft. Somewhere around the 10th round is probably a good spot, but again, building your team is the most important thing in fantasy football, and that usually means RB's and WR's.
