An FLD112 is basically the same cab as a FLD120, just 8 inches shorter in the hood, with the 112 latches on the side of the hood, and the 120 hood latches on the back side of the fenders. Both these 'real' trucks have aluminum cabs. FL112's are a totally different animal.

Taking its nameplate from a long-defunct truck manufacturer, Sterling was slotted between Freightliner and Western Star within the Daimler product range (later Daimler Trucks North America). After years of struggling to meet sales expectations, Daimler discontinued the Sterling Trucks line for 2009.
The Cargo combines the familiar Ford-designed low-forward cab with Freightliner's Business Class chassis. The standard engine is the Cummins ISB electronically controlled diesel with ratings from 175 to 215 hp.
