Spawners cannot be obtained in Survival, even with Silk Touch. If mined with a pickaxe, they break quickly and drop some experience.
To break one, use a pickaxe, preferably Iron level or higher. Note, once you destroy one, it will not drop as a block, so break these only if you'd like to get rid of them permanently. While your opinion may differ, I find spawners to be excellent exp farms, and you can turn yours into a mob farm.
In Minecraft, there is a spawn egg called Creeper Spawn Egg that is green with black spots. This spawn egg is an item that can not be crafted in the game. It is only available in Creative mode (not Survival mode) through the Creative Inventory menu. When you use this spawn egg, it will instantly spawn a creeper.
Mining one will break it, and they cannot be moved with pistons. When you encounter a spawner, it's generally a good idea to simply place a torch atop it (larger dungeons may require more than one torch) to prevent mobs from spawning.
One decent method I have found is if you hear a lot of mob sounds while you're on the surface but you don't see any of them around, there's a chance that a mob spawner is near the surface and the mobs are filling up a cave (spawning and wandering away from the spawner).
Type /give (username here) minecraft:mob_spawner and then get a creeper spawn egg out of creative and right click the spawner with it then you should be good to go. If you want a mob spawner block (that spawns creepers), just type /give @p mob_spawner , then place and right-click with a creeper egg.
To tame a fox in Minecraft, you need to make a brand-new fox; you need to convince foxes to breed, in other words. All you need to do this is to give one sweet berry to one fox, then give another sweet berry to the fox with whom you want it to mate.
If you want to place a monster spawner, you will need to find it in the Creative Inventory menu in Minecraft PE or Windows 10. In Minecraft Java Edition (PC/Mac), you can give yourself one with a game command. Once you have added a monster spawner to your hotbar, make sure that it is the selected item.
There are several ways to determine the world spawn point:
- A compass always points to the spawn point.
- The following works only for players not connected to a bed:
- Doing the commands /gamerule spawnRadius 0 then /kill .
- Entities other than players falling into the exit portal in the End land on the exact spawn point.
Mob spawners, or monster spawners, are blocks that spawn mobs when placed. Conditions (e.g. light levels) relative to the mob type of the spawner must still be met in order for the monster to spawn. They are often used in grinders, and can be found in dungeons but cannot be mined in Vanilla Minecraft.
The mob spawner will have a pig in it by default, but you can right click the block with a spawn egg (which you can find in the "Miscellaneous" section of the creative inventory) to change the mob that spawns in it. For spawners the code is "52:" then a number defining what type of mob the spawner spawns.
In Minecraft, a monster spawner (sometimes called mob spawner) is a block that spawns mobs. It looks like a black cage. You will typically find monster spawners in dungeons where they spawn hostile mobs such as spiders or creepers.
Dungeons are naturally occurring areas that are found underground in the Overworld. They are either 5x5, 7x7, or 5x7 blocks in size, and are generally made up of cobblestone and mossy cobblestone.
- Increase the cap of mobs. Change the cap from 70 to 250 or something like that.
- Increase the amount of attempts to spawn mobs.
- If a monster does not attack or make an attempt to attack within 1 minute 30 seconds of spawning, it despawns.
